Nothing at all. It would have been nice to have a food and drinks service available, but we knew that beforehand and the shop was 2 minutes down the road for essential pool-side treats (beers), which was silly cheap and because we had our own fridge we probably saved quite a bit of money!

This is a difficult list because everything about this little resort is absolutely perfect. All the accommodation is located around a wonderful pool, and the bungalows vary from the cheapest with huge rooms and bathrooms, awesome air con, super quick WiFi and patios, to the bigger accommodations with hammocks, dining tables and swings. The staff are just the loveliest, most professional and nicest people who go well out of their way to make sure you have the best stay possible. We extended because we felt so at home. They also served us a huge delicious vegan breakfast, which changed everyday for our stay. We normally have to skip breakfast or find alternatives as vegan choices for breakfasts in hotels in South East Asia aren't normally good, or available at all. So we weren't expecting that at all, and the wonderful varied breakfast spread was a huge bonus for us. Free bicycle rental was nice. As was the message I had which made me feel like stretch Armstrong when I was finished.

I liked everything

The location was great and the staff outstanding. They look after you and make you feel at home. They provided bikes and we cycled around the rice fields and the small villages. It was a stunning experience. This place is not just a hotel it has the Thai atmosphere and feeling. Breakfast was great. They try their best and try to please you in everything.

Too many lizards/geicos in the bathroom. Breakfast is a set menu and included several Thai delicacies. A few more western options (cereal, cheese, pastries, grilled tomatoes, bacon, eggs cooked to order etc) a la carte/to order would be a nice addition.

The location is great and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Good bedding, linens, water pressure. Most importantly the air conditioning works very well which is imperative for the heat in Sukhothai. But it’s the warmth, kindness and care of the staff that stands out the most.

Everything was just amazing. From the check-in when we met the sister’s owner and her gentle spirit to the path to the gorgeous bungalow. I can’t decide what was better! The pool site, the room or the breakfast. If you want to recharcge your battery and being with the amazing people who runs this place come and experience it yourself. cheapeau!

Superb breakfast with all great varieties of veggies, fruits, and sweets. The tropical garden is just heavenly. Very peaceful place, wonderfully decorated with wooden furniture and crafts.

the receptionist girl was so nice, she offered us bikes for free to go to the city and the last day she took us to the bus station for free as well. Even she lended us a bowl when we grabbed take away food. The pool is totally amazing and it’s very near to the natural park. We would be back anytime!!

It isn't easy to get around without your own vehicle. The bicycles have seen better days.

I really enjoyed everything about BaanSuk Sukhothai. The bungalow was private and quiet. It was spacious and it felt like I was in the jungle as there were many trees around. No mosquito problem at all. Under the bungalow was a place to sit and do some reading and writing. The air con was quiet and I slept great. Lin, the host, was very helpful and the breakfasts were delicious. I had the Thai style on some days and it did not disappoint. The location of the historical park was very convenient.

Honestly nothing, great value for the price.

Lyn was our hostess, she was friendly and accommodating, offered an array of original Thai desserts, not too sweet, for breakfast many I had not tasted before for the two mornings we stayed. Also made me an omelette with toast and fresh salad with rice soup. Unlimited real cappuccino and espresso with breakfast. Bed was comfy, not the usual hard mattress, towels were fresh, room was large, bright and clean with two different outside sitting areas, grounds and garden well looked after. Historic district was just down the road a mile with a quiet less travelled bike/motorcycle path just off the back of the property passing the Chang Lom historic site and weaving thru rice fields. We were traveling on our motorcycle and took advantage of the path.

everything!! the pool, the room, the staff, everything/-one was perfekt and super nice! also it was by far the best breakfast we had in Thailand!! thank you so much for that! we even got soymilk for coffee. the lady having duty was super thoughtful and so very sweet! thank you!!! also check out the sweet rice cafe close to it! but only in the afternoon because you will be so full of breakfast. :)

not much shelf space

The resort is located in a quiet neighborhood of old Sukhothai, nearly 2 km from the entrance to the historical park, easy to reach by tuktuk. It's just 3 years old and very clean, providing a really relaxed atmosphere. The bungalows are bright and spacious, the beds are very comfortable. Lhin manages the resort very competent with great helpfulness and kindness. She always tries to fulfill the wishes of her guests. They serve a great breakfast mixed American / Asian style with fresh ingredients from the local market, including various fresh fruits. We recommend this place very much.
