So well looked after by malee and her family Easy to get to ( we travelled by ferry from phi phi , and then tuk tuk taxi from job jum pier ) Makee was quick to reply to any questions prior to arrival Situated on the main road opposite the mosque the property was behind the ban ban restaurant- it felt part of the little village lining the road , a couple of shops , was interesting seeing folk going to and fro, The bungalows are in a nice garden . Across the road and opposite is a track - 10 minutes walk to the beach which is long and lovely , quiet - a couple of bars and restaurants to go to on the beach Malee and her family were lovely kind hosts making you feel part of the family , we had a couple of very nice breakfasts and evening meals there ( pizza was delicious) and a lift to the boat when we left

i love this place. only 4 spacious bungalows in a massive and beautiful garden. it’s very tranquil and invites to relax. the food in their restaurant is one of the best on the island. will be happy to return next time!

We enjoyed our 6 days stay very much. The bungalow is very spacious, located in a nice garden and a lot of privacy. AC is really not necessary. Bed was comfortable. Everything is clean. Location was quiet and near to a wonderful beach, where swimming is possible even at low tide. Malee is an extraordinary kind and helpful person and the staff is kind as well. Malee is good in organising transports, helping with appointments at the health centre, translating the not so pleasant situation after a little scooter crash with a local woman. She is our hero. We also liked the food in Ban Ban Restaurant very much, especially the cinnamon rolls are legendary. We hope that we have the chance to come again soon.

The staff that work at the restaurant and bungalows made me feel at home. They accommodated my specific requests like I was family. The room was really spacious as well as the bathroom. The Thai food at the restaurant was also VERY good and I was happy to have such a simple set up of quiet mornings in the garden with their food.

The magical simplicity combined with the hosts exceptional hospitality made this an amazing stay to remember. Allergies were totally understood and catered for. Nothing has been too much trouble and smiles at every moment. The traditional wooden bungalow was spacious, spotless and hidden in a serene jungle garden. Cicadas and birds chattered all day and monkeys jumped through the trees and over rooftops. A few metres away was the exceptional Ban Ban restaurant serving some of the best Thai food we have ever tasted- even the unexpected penang Thai pizza and raw vegetable Vietnamese spring rolls. A 5 minute walk to the beach and again you are in paradise -clear sea and sandy shore fringed with palms and trees. An utter delight to stay there for the day. Mali and her adorable family have created the perfect family guest house on an unspoilt island. It was a total privilege to stay there

Malee and her husband are amazing people, with a huge warm heart! the food at the restaurant is outstanding! the wooden bangalow is beautiful, with a big bed (serious mosquito net!) table and chairs on the porch, to enjoy the garden/jungle! Location of hotel at booking.com is wrong. The hotel is at the center of Ban Tiang Rai. We can't find it much time but it's not a big problem: we were exploring the island anyway.

The best location: in the center of the island. Near the best beach on the island, a lot of restaurants around. Wonderful garden at the territory 😍 Quiet and pleasant place. Friendly and polite owners. I really like Koh Jum island and this Bangalow and I hope to come here again.

Beautiful property, sweet rustic bungalows with large porch and good size (and very clean) bathroom. Short 8 min walk to beach. Excellent restaurant on site- homemade baked goods too!!

fabulous host: very helpful. The bungalows are a short walk to a beach and the garden is a peaceful location. Ban Ban restaurant is excellent and we ate here each night. there is a bar - the why not on the way to the beach. The bungalows are a good size.

Not a criticism but just a note, if you're particularly sensitive to sound then I'd recommend bringing earplugs. Being in the middle of a beautiful garden can be a little noisy due to cicadas and crickets!! But we thought it was amazing and all part of the experience 🥰

Gorgeous private bungalow in a beautiful garden. Mally is a lovely lady and helped us throughout our stay arranging a taxi to the port and giving us recommendations. The Ban Ban restaurant connected to the hotel is easily the best on the island and we loved every moment of our stay in the beautiful Koh Jum!

Some advice: Please email the property directly to confirm that they have accepted your reservation. I booked 2 nights, and even corresponded with the owner regarding transport on the island, but when I arrived she said she had omitted to write my reservation down and had sold the room to someone else. She was apologetic and tried very hard to help me find alternative accommodation but as it was peak season, this didn’t work out and I had to leave Ko Jum earlier than planned. It was such a shame as the bungalows and garden looked very lovely. I am sure you would have a lovely stay there, just be sure to send an email to double/triple check that they are expecting you.

the room were never cleaned while our stay and the Bangalow was quite offen, so all the bugs come inside.

the staff were really friendly and helpful. the restaurant is really good and just few minutes to, my opinion, best beach in Koh Jum
