The room was at the far end away from the lift which meant that we had to take the lift and then walk around the length of the hotel to get there. However, when not lugging the luggage, we used the stairs next to the room for easy exit which brought us just to the entrance of the hotel and next to the breakfast area.

Great location- just a stone's throw away from the beach. Bed was huge and comfy. The breakfast was a good spread.

The lift system and the lift’s themselves are very outdated and old. It took a 5 min walk to get to the lift only. Also the breakage was very far.

Location was very good. Staff were very nice. Bed was super comfortable. We needed first aid for our stay and they were prompt enough. So big thank you for that.

Although in a great location, Patong was very noisy and so there were fireworks going off at all hours of the night however we didn’t mind this so much just something to be aware of.

The beds! The most comfortable beds we’ve ever slept in. The staff were phenomenal too especially Timmy at the pool bar. His local knowledge and experience and welcoming of guests was a memorable part of our short stay.

Could have been cleaner in the room (vacuum and bathroom). Extra important when having a crawling baby with you. More toilet paper in the bathroom would be nice.

Check in was quick and easy, all amenities were fabulous the 3 pools were large and you could always get a sun lounger if you wanted. The Gym was small but well maintained. The location of the hotel was central to everything Patong has to offer.

Some staff members were basically rude and not friendly at all. The room I was staying, which was an upgrade, did not have a bathtub. Overall, the room and the space was good, but was not amazing. I would say the value for money is not great.

The location is pretty perfect if you would like to go to Patong beach. Some staff members are very nice and helpful. The facilities are very clean. The pool and the view is great too.

The DoubleTree has a good breakfast, good variety, the staff manages the hotel quite well. If you’re in Phuket for a lively time then the location is great but I found it to be a little too busy

Pillows were terrible and common areas/lifts need attention as they are quite dated.
