How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Soi 5 is a little drab and it’s right in the middle part of the road, that’s the trade off to being quiet. Some construction on a wall in the early morning m.

They have now stopped serving all food which is a bummer as sometimes you just wana get a bite to eat. Now we always have to leave the hotel to get brekky or lunch organised. They actually used to do nice food especially if you have kids swimming and they fancy a bit after
We always stay at this hotel. The staff are great and all the rooms have been updated. They are a lot nicer now.

Not enough sunbeds with umbrellas. Guests putting towels on sunbeds but never in attendance. Broken plastic chairs around the pool.

The price ordered does not include breakfast, however, it is understandable。
Six years ago, my son and I lived here. We had a swimming pool, breakfast, and it was very close to the beach. This time, when we came over with friends, we found that it had been renovated and it was quite clean. I also went swimming on the second floor, where I can see the sea from the window, which is cost-effective

Restaurant on site would have been nice.
Room was adjacent to pool with patio. Breakfast was ok - same every day. Cleaning and front desk staff were fantastic.

Access to the street was closed. I would have appreciate to be informed by the hotel instead of trying to find my way by myself

Nothing really, we spent a very nice 4 weeks there, maybe just Breakfast choices are medium, can be crowded around the pool during weekends.
Very good hotel, calm, good location - near the sea, restaurants, soi 6, but at the same time quite and calm. Very nice pool with fitness and sauna, helpful staff, good even for longer stay.

Limited choice and expensive breakfast. Vertical white wood paneling either side of bed had dust sticking to it. Otherwise room.and bathroom very clean

The common areas like the lobby, hallways, and dining room weren't well air conditioned every time i come from the hot outside. Also, you could tell the hotel is in need of an upgrade in appliances and room fixtures, it looked old.
The daily breakfast was top notch with the variety of options offered. I like the well spacious room with a balcony and clean beautiful swimming pool.

Shower was either cold or very hot, maybe could have been sorted out if I asked as the staff were great but I didn't ask.
Breakfast looked good but didn't have it. Big modern spacious rooms, very comfortable. The staff are all friendly and helpful. Reasonably quiet at night. The pool is great, can have a proper swim and plenty of sun loungers. Good little gym, cardio and weights for a decent workout.

Thanks to some uneven paving on the beach strip - I fell and badly bruised my arm causing some bleeding onto the bed-sheets - the reaction upon departure from the cleaning staff & reception was that I was some sort of junkie injecting until I showed them my bruised and battered arm upon which I was allowed to leave - very odd.
Large, clean rooms with comfortable beds and balcony terrace with access to a very clean swimming pool. The buffet breakfasts were adequate although some more healthy options might have been appreciated. Great value, perfect wifi, friendly staff & great location.
