Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Great Budget resort, probably best value in SRY. Friendly staff, location close to beach and restaurants. Pleasant restaurant area with complimentary coffee. Lovely gardens. I've stayed here many times, appears there are new comfortable beds.

SpainWe had nothing to complain about.
Blue Beach Resort is set in a beautiful mature well -tended garden just off the beach road in Sam Roi Yot. Our bungalow was about 50 metres from the beach with its magnificent views. There are several good restaurants and a lovely coffee shop right beside the resort. Free self-service coffee and hot malt chocolate drinks are available at reception all day and night. Breakfast is also available at a reasonable price up to 11am. The staff were pleasant, helpful and inobtrusive. They were always working on the rooms or in the garden. They drove us to our next destination, an hour away to the south, at a reasonable price. The room was an individual bungalow which was clean, comfortable and quiet. The bathroom was dated but functional. The bed was great and we slept very well. The resort is incredibly quiet, day and night. The sounds of nature were endearing and the colours were vibrant outside. The pool is small but big enough for a daily dip in the warm water. It was well kept and clean. The WiFi in the room was very good and streaming was no problem. That was important as the area had no late venues. We, and all the other guests, were in our rooms quite early. The other guests seemed just as pleased as we were with Blue Beach Resort. It was very relaxing and good value too.

United KingdomSuperb location; lovely pool (watch the birds, squirrels as you swim). Host is very helpful in general; he also arranged scooter hire with the scooter delivered to the premises and a taxi transfer at the end of our stay. Nice touch is a a bottle of water (in glass not plastic) was provided for each of us each day.

South AfricaTV was smaller than I'm used to.
Surprisingly, there are not many resorts between Krabi and Hua Him. However, thanks to major recent road construction projects, you can now easily get off the main highway and explore the coastal area. So, I found this lovely resort, set in a long bay with a couple of small offshore islands. You can walk out to sea a long way. Very shallow. Great beach. Little eating huts on the beach. Romantic. There is a pool at the resort as well if you get tired of the beach. The bed was extremely comfortable.

United KingdomPrice originally quoted by booking.com was less than actually paid - because Tax & Fees weren't included in headline price. This isn't normal practice with booking.com - and caught me offguard.
Blue Beach Resort is close to the wonderful beach at Sam Roi Yot. Bungalows were clean and comfortable - with free coffees provided at reception.

United KingdomNo restaurant, but there are PLENTY of options nearby.
As with any great experience, it’s largely the people that make it special. Blue Beach Resort is no exception to that. Run by kind, attentive and caring people, I felt welcomed from the moment I arrived. The little individual dwellings house exceptionally large and comfy beds, with basic amenities. It’s quiet, set back away from the main stretch of -likewise, quiet- road that runs parallel to the beach in Sam Roi Yot. There are some really good restaurants along the stretch of beach, so take your pick. I had. great fried rice dish with crab at the restaurant that sits almost next door to the resort, but I spent most of my time eating and drinking at Arjuma Beach Restaurant, around a 5 minute walk north of Blue Beach resort. The lady (Noi) who owns and runs that place is super friendly and accommodating and this place also serves an incredible coconut iced coffee (great option for those who don’t do dairy)! The resort itself is peaceful. There was a lot of garden/outdoor maintenance going on shortly before I arrived, which continued, but wasn’t disruptive in the slightest. T, one of the owners (I think), and a friend of his, were incredibly helpful in finding a scooter for me to rent, when I told them I wanted to go to Praya Nakhon Cave. I had intended on walking, however that would have been a slog! I hired a scooter for 24hrs, 250 Baht, plus 50 Baht for petrol. Perfect. My tip - hire a bike asap, as it gives you freedom in this area, where grab is pretty much non-existent. T also gave me a lift to Prachuap Khiri Khan, for a fair price, on the day I needed to catch a train further south. What a guy! 🙏🏻 The people of Sam Roi Yot super helpful and friendly. Go find out for yourself! I look forward to returning in the future.

United StatesEverything.. but garden I left for another resort due to my health situation according to strong bleach smell in the room. The rest of my brother family stayed since it’s non refundable and we don’t want to pay extra somewhere else. It’s already late to find any reasonable price in such a short notice.
This property was totally a big shock. The bed sheet had stain, hairs, and smell. The bathroom door was broken, old and dirty. The room smell of perfume mixed with bleach. The gardening staff was spraying pesticides one day. The swimming pool was full of leaves in the bottom. The manager was so rude and yelling at us for asking for missing pillows and blanket. He seemed to be drinking alcohol while working from his breath whiling talking to us. We would like to cancel but it was already late and he said we already paid and not refundable. A nightmare and very disappointing that the booking.com has not screened its listing better for customers

JerseyOne if the staff was VERY rude to me. Shouting at me for not letting him know that the I hot water in my room was not working. I appreciate that he wanted the room to be right for hia guest. However his behaviour was completely over the top and unacceptable. After that he was very much treating me with a feeling of contempt. I have tried not to take his attitude with me personally although need to note that he was smiling, polite and nice with everyone else.

ThailandThe 2G WiFi was patchy. I’m not sure where the router was. The owner told me that they didn’t have an iron for my clothes for work but found one when I showed the previous messages on Booking, which said they would provide one. I’m not sure what’s going on. The pipe for the bathroom sink was missing so everything went on to the bathroom floor. So you may have to spit out your toothpaste in the toilet or wear sandals in the bathroom.
The location is great, a 2 minute walk to the beach. It’s safe.

United KingdomI paid extra for a room with balcony but they all have balconies so that is a waste of money. The balcony had no furniture except a deck chair whereas the standard room balconies have table and chairs. The pillars on my balcony were crumbling and not nice to look at, yet the other rooms garden pillars were fine and the rooms empty. The pool was not cleaned and only cleaned on my last day (Saturday) when they we’re expecting other guests. The pool side chairs are very uncomfortable plastic with no cushion/mat - when I asked for one I was spoken to very rudely. Thankfully I had my yoga mat so used that otherwise would not have been able to sit by pool. The room was clean but bathroom plug hole was horribly mouldy and needs replacing. Staff were not friendly to me and did not ask once over my three day stay if I was ok or needed anything.
Beautiful gardens and pool surrounded by lovely trees.
