Very good Homestay Resort with friendly staff, if you want to see the Red Lotus lake, this Homestay Resort is right for you as it is very close to the lake, just around 5 minutes drive. The room is very clean and cozy, there is no any traffic noise, instead you will feel a natural sound and relax.

Beautiful rural setting with a good sized swimming pool. The people running it were great and helped with our trip to the Red Lotus Lake and also to the train station when we were leaving. The property was clean and had a very relaxing atmosphere and the food was excellent.

Stayed in one of the bungalows overlooking the lake. Room a little small for all our stuff but we managed it! This is a real gem of a place if you are visiting the Red Lotus Lake. Staff couldn’t have done more, food and drinks good too. Staff arranged car to the lake before dawn so be prepared for an early start if you want to see sunrise on the lake.

All the rooms are on the ground floor and you are very close to nature there, so all the ants, grasshoppers, and butterflies make their way into your room easily. But I guess it is a part of the experience.

The location is great - it is really close to the Red Lotus Lake - one short ride via tuk-tuk and you are there. Other than that, the place is very secluded - there is a small village nearby in a walkable distance, but there is not much to do there. But my main goal was to see the lake and then just to chill at the hotel, so for these purposes the location was superb. The hotel has a territory around it with two small lakes where you can have a glimpse of the "red lotus"/water lilies that you would see on the main lake, and it is very nice. Fireflies are gathering next to the water in the evening and it is very beautiful. There is a nice swimming pool with refreshing, but not too cold water, and a nice balcony from which one can observe the premises. The hotel is family-run, and the hosts are very welcome and helpful. They are the ones who cook meals for you and they also arrange transport to whenever you need to go. Everything is pretty much home-made, but I really loved the vibe. The meals were very nice: they have a selection of both Thai and Western food, bevereges, alcohol drinks, etc. My room was very spacious, with huge bed. Everything looked new and fresh, the floors were sparkling clean. It is helpful that there is a kettle in the room, so you can have tea or coffee there.

For a remote place far from town it was expensive to compare to other places in Thailand.Both accomodation and food.Still it was fine for us.We travelled 3 moths thru Thailand.So we can compare the prices.Btw...the beds were very hard...

The location was somewhat remote. Farmers burning vegetation made smoke in the morning that was definitely noticable.

A beautiful little gem only a few mins drive from Red Lotus Lake. A gorgeous house which has been beautifully & tastefully decorated. The rooms are spotlessly clean, spacious with everything you need. The little pool was inviting & the perfect temperature for a dip. Our dinner was beautifully prepared & they even catered to our vegan diet requirements serving us home cooked green curry, mixed vegetables & rice, washed down with a beer on the verandah watching the sunset. The owners Ae & her husband are very friendly & make you feel right at home. They used to live on Cairns, Australian so being from QLD ourselves, we had plenty to talk about. It doesn't get much better than this, we highly recommend!

Stunning boutique style resort of the highest quality, the owners speak Thai and English fluently and are extremely helpful and courteous. Had one of the best meals of the trip in their restaurant over-looking the pool and if you are going to see the Red Lotus Sea, you couldn't be nearer except in the Red Lotus Sea. You will need a car to get there.

Absolutely fantastic! Stayed one night with a friend in a family room, which had 1 large double bed and 2 bunk beds. The purpose of the trip was to see the Red Lotus Lake. The lake is about 5 mins drive from the homestay. This is the best homestay we have ever experienced! The owners are very nice, friendly and welcoming. The place is new and clean and has a swimming pool, restaurant, cafe/bar, big parking space, and beautiful view and sunset from the rooftop. Room is spacious and clean and has everything you need (or even more); a/c, electric kettle, fridge, tv, hot water, towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap, delicious food, comfortable beds, etc. everything like in a 5 star hotel. The environment is peaceful and tranquil. The only disadvantage was that we stayed ONLY 1 night :-) Next time will stay longer. Will definitely recommend this place.

Not one thing!

I have to start this off by saying that we came here for Red Lotus Lake and the beauty, Bua Daeng Homestay was not our first choice but it became very evident that it was the right choice. And although we came for Red Lotus Lake my wife and I agree that we would come back even when the Lotus were not in bloom to enjoy the peace, tranquility, beauty, and wonderful hospitality of the owners. Had wonderful food to the list as well. I can't tell you how thoroughly impressed I am with this gem that sits basically in the middle of nowhere. If you want to get away from the city and the hustle and bustle this is definitely the right place to come to. I give my whole hearted five star rating to this absolutely marvelous homestay.
