The location is right in front of the beach. We had a seaview room on the second floor and the view was really amazing. The breakfast was delicious and was served on the balcony of the room.The room was very comfortable, there were enough sockets everywhere. CanadaDepending on the size of your party, might be a bit small (A bed, a couch/hide-a-bed, and bathroom), but the balcony more than made up for the lack of "desk"/table (nothing beats that view and "sound track").
Breakfast was served (and delivered!) daily, and was excellent (a different meal every day made it exciting to find out how you would start the day). There were no facilities to eat inside the room, but I had a balcony looking at the beach/ocean with a table and chairs; nothing beats breakfast looking out at the horizon listening to the waves... The bed and pillows were very comfy (rare in Thailand), and the location is amazing. Close enough that you can cheap out and walk from the ferry, yet far enough to justify contributing to the local economy and getting a "taxi" (scooter with side car). Quiet location, and again, walking distance to Walking St ("downtown"). They speak English!

United KingdomI'm going to be honest, I was disappointed for the price. We came over from Mali Resort Pattaya Beach which was actually cheaper, and had far more facilities. There is no beach chairs here or a bar so you'll have to go and use another resort. You've got the room and that is it. The prices for the room we had (seaview) cost £580 for five nights. This is a £300 resort at best. The rooms looking inwards are a lot cheaper. It needs a bit of TLC
The partial seaview rooms are very good with amazing views. Having breakfast served in the room just after sunrise is awesome. Room cleaning is very efficient and staff are lovely. It's a different vibe from the other side of the island where we also stayed. It has a more local vibe - access to the resort is through a small church community.

New ZealandHad the most amazing stay at Cabana Lipe, our room was beach front and it felt like the best place on the island to be. The staff were so welcoming - providing transport, a kayak and snorkeling equipment at no extra cost. There is no restaurant on site but this is not an issue as a delicious breakfast is brought to you in the morning and there are many restaurants to choose from close by. We also stayed at Pattaya beach but enjoyed our time here much more as the beach is quieter and better for swimming and relaxing. Accommodation is close to walking street and everything you need.

Flying cockroach in the bathroom. upon asking house keeping to attend to it, they replied sorry we are not perfect and never rectified the problem during our stay. had to ask for bathroom towels everyday as there were none.

thought location is just near to the beach, but there were boats parking block the view and sea to play! it can blame the both driver since they came before hotel established. the gust must rethink either staying front beach hotel to support the business and your own wants..
