I don't mind noise but if you do please know that there are fireworks every night several times starting from 7ish till well past midnight and since its so close to the beach you can hear it. Also not much of a water pressure in the shower which is a shame cause its a pretty decent shower.

A step away from the beach, restaurants, pubs, a 7-11, Starbucks and everything you need. Check-in and out was super quick and easy.

We stayed from 26 December until 2 January and were not able to sleep a single night because right outside this hotel is the main place where people shoot fireworks from and they keep on blasting them from 11 pm to 4-6 am and even once at 8 am (its daylight so thats crazy). Each blast was so loud that windows were shaking so we all jumped up from bed every 45 minutes :-(

Excellent location across from the beach at Patong. Large room and QUIET. Right near the Center of things but so quiet. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Perfect. will always stay there in the future.

Internet was poor to nonexistent, room had a terrible smell, you have to use the back door during non Buisness hours, no elevator in the building and we stayed on the third floor with small steep narrow steps.

Fantastic room, located in an alleyway opposite the beach. So from room to beach about 1 minute. From Bangla Road to room about 3 to 4 minutes walk. The owner is fantastic. He greeted me warmly and showed me around. Unlike the usual 100 million questions at most places, when you check in here, he was all over it and made it fun rather than a chore. There is a large restaurant below, but he showed me an easy way to get into hotel directly off beach road where you walk up some stairs onto a walkway, that takes you directly to a secured door. So never have to walk through restaurant etc. You can run Air conditioning all the time so get back to a cool room. The fridge is really good and keeps drinks very cold.

Only thing we would've wished is a hair dryer, but for what it is (and it's no hotel) it was totally fine that there wasn't one.

We really loved it here. On our Thailand-trip we've been to wellness/spa-resorts on one hand but also in backpacker-hostels on the other hand and from all that we liked "cafe de paris" the best. It's not a luxury hotel or anything like a hotel. It's just a room (I'm reffering to Room No1) with a bed, a wardrobe, bathroom and a small balcony, pretty close to the beach and the nightlife of patong beach, but really cozy. We booked the room half an hour before we arrived, so the owner hasn't got any time to prepare anything. But 15 min. after we entered the room, he knocked at the door to explain everything and make sure, that we have everything we need. It was really kind. He's a very friendly and uncomplicated Person. We read also about other recommendations which talked about "The water in the shower is too hot", or "it's too loud from outside" and yes, if you don't adjust the water-tap to "cold" it's hot. And yes, you're on patong beach it's party outside. But the room is soundproofed so we slept pretty good. ;)
