Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomNo elevator for luggage, one could be built outside the building to get the luggage up if there's no place inside.
The hostess Mrs. Pong was incredible, she was very welcoming and helpful, the design was great and breakfast was nice. Please note this feels like a warm and welcoming home, this is not meant to be a "luxury accommodation for value". The location is very central, close to MBK and other tourists attraction but not too busy for getting on and out. I would definitely recommend for anyone that wants welcoming and 'warm' experience. Would I stay here again? Without a question yes.

FranceThe closest metro stations (Phaya Thai or Ratchthewi) are about 15-20 min by walk. That is a bit far in the heat of Bangkok.
Very quiet place, full of charm, that makes me feel like home. I enjoyed the cleaness of the room and of the common areas. I liked the homemade breakfast, with excellent banana bread, cooked dishes in addition of fresh fruit juice and fresh fruits, yogurts etc.

Clean and atmospheric courtyard, delicious breakfast, different fruits offered every morning. Miss Pong is very responsible, friendly, helpful and always ready to help. Thank you.

United KingdomTake out breakfast box for early departure was sooo disappointing, only an yoghurt offered and soya drink. Would have been nice to have a pastry or some fruit/hard boiled egg too.
Second stay here, this time at the end of our trip around south east asia. Warmly welcomed back by Pong who is so sweet. The hotel is immaculately clean, very new and conveniently located for both airports, yet easy to take a taxi or tuk tuk to the tourist areas.

SpainThe location. While Casa Luna is conveniently situated in a fairly central area of Bangkok, the alley or street leading to the property is quite dimly lit, which made me feel uneasy at night, especially since I was traveling alone as a woman. Thankfully, I didn't experience any incidents during my stay, but I made sure to avoid arriving too late at the accommodation as a precaution.
Very cozy, clean, staff super professional, friendly, willing to help you

Saudi ArabiaHowever, no stay is without its minor hiccups. Regrettably, we encountered an incident involving an entitled woman who disrupted our peace. A fellow guest, approached our room late at night to complain about noise, despite her disruptive behavior. Her rudeness towards both guests and staff was disappointing and marred an otherwise flawless experience. I think she commented on here too, complaining about the cleanliness (which is a bold accusation as the staff cleaned every single day, from morning to night) She complained about the leaves that fell on the terrace, which is a natural cause by the way, because trees shed dead leaves. You can find her comment somewhere here, it's the one that sounds very entitled and rude. In addition, it's worth noting that the accusations made by the aforementioned individual were baseless. She alleged that we were treating our room like a cinema, despite no other guests having lodged complaints or even reported hearing any noise. This further underscores the unreasonable nature of her behavior and highlights that her grievances were unfounded. Despite this isolated incident, the overall ambiance and tranquility of Hotel Casa Luna remained undisturbed, ensuring a relaxing and enjoyable stay for all other guests.
Hotel Casa Luna: A Perfect Stay in Bangkok My recent stay at Hotel Casa Luna in Bangkok was nothing short of perfect. From the moment we arrived until the moment we departed, every aspect of our experience was exceptional. First and foremost, the breakfast provided by the hotel deserves special mention. Each morning, we were greeted with a delightful spread of healthy options including scrambled eggs, fresh fruits, noodles, assorted breads, cereals, and more. This ensured we started our days off right, energized, and ready to explore the vibrant city of Bangkok. The cleanliness of the rooms and bathrooms was impeccable, with housekeeping attending to them daily. Returning to a tidy and fresh-smelling room after a day of sightseeing was truly a pleasure. The serene environment of the hotel further enhanced our relaxation, providing a peaceful retreat amidst the bustling city. Located conveniently amidst numerous convenience stores, Hotel Casa Luna made it effortless for us to procure any necessities we required during our stay. Additionally, the proximity to malls, just a short 5-10 minute drive away, made shopping and dining out incredibly convenient. One of the standout aspects of our stay was the impeccable service provided by the staff. Friendly, attentive, and always willing to assist, they truly went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. Their professionalism and hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. In conclusion, Hotel Casa Luna offers a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and hospitality in the heart of Bangkok. With excellent amenities, friendly staff, and a serene atmosphere, it is an ideal choice for any traveler seeking a memorable stay in this vibrant city. Despite the unfortunate encounter with the aforementioned individual, our overall experience was nothing short of exceptional, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bangkok. Special thanks to Miss Pong, Mr. Paul, and all the staff members!

New ZealandIf there are more chairs in the room for family, shoes has too be taken off before entering the hotel which makes a bit troublesome, although I understand it improves the overall interior hygiene.

BelgiumWe absolutely loved our stay at Casa Luna. This brand-new, family-run hotel is nestled in the heart of Bangkok, offering an excellent base for exploring the old town and shopping centres. Pong at the reception ensured we were well-informed about local sights and treated us like family. It truly felt like coming home. The rooms are impeccably clean, and the location is notably quiet. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for those seeking a refreshing alternative to the impersonal atmosphere of large hotel chains. Staying here is like being part of a family that genuinely cares about your wellbeing and experience. We will be back next year when we visit Thailand again!

United KingdomBeing a boutique guest house there was no pool which would of been welcome in the intense Bangkok heat but we obviously knew this on booking .. also we had a small balcony area at the back of our room but no actual furniture/chairs out there so could not sit outside. Breakfast buffet was very nice but scrambled eggs and sausages were pre cooked and served cold although I suppose we could have microwaved them.. A 4 slice toaster instead of just 2 would have been welcome too.. but these are minor points i hope the owners can use to improve what is a lovely property.
A lovely tranquil hideaway only a short stroll down a quiet lane from the madness and hustle of central Bangkok..it was also a fairly easy 25min walk to MBK Shopping Mall from here and only 800m from the airport rail link at Phaya Thai ... also being just of a main road it was easy and cheap using Grab to get to the major sites and entertainment. The Hotel/guest house which is recently converted from 2 separate residential properties is extremely comfortable and relaxing, what I would describe as a boutique property.. Only 8 rooms so they book up well in advance so we were really lucky to get a room. The owners/staff are extremely friendly and helpful..Oh and by far the most comfortable beds we had during our month long tour.
