How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

There's a big construction site in front of the hotel, which is not their fault though. It was a bit akward to see the breakfast staff brushing their hair at the restaurant. Did not seem to be very hygienic for the food.
Great view from the roof top and nice pool, the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. You get great value for the price!

Didn't happened to me but an issue with my friend's room was ignored by staff.
Good location with a walking distance to bars and restaurants, not super fancy but clean and nice place to stay for a good price. It's also good to have a pool to chill around.

Comfortable room, good size. Good roof top swimming pool area. Plenty of sunbeds. Very friendly and attentive staff. Great location, within walking distance from Khaosan Road.

The only negative was the major roadworks outside the front of the property (no fault of the hotel and there was no noise disruption during the night at all)
Great location, short walk to the bars and restaurants etc but far enough away from the late night partying! Rooftop pool was very much appreciated in the heat.

The road is under construction, so this could be disturbing for light sleepers, because they are working during night as well. This is not the property fault, of course. The cleaning could have been better. I saw stains on the bathroom door and shower glass wall. The employees level of English is very low, so you better search anything on Google than ask them.
I liked that the hotel has a nice design. The room was comfortable and spacious. I got a room that was pretty much away from the noise on the street, so I appreciated the effort they did to fulfill my request. They give you a very tasty welcome drink and the breakfast has also a great variety. I didn’t get to try the pool, but I think it is very nice to have a rooftop pool in the middle of the city. The location is very close to Kaosan Road.

At the moment, the hotel area is affected by road works (dust, noise, etc.), which are not very pleasant
The staff: very courteous and helpful guys, but on average not all of them were like that. The rooftop pool is beautiful, and so is the view. However, 2 times I have not found a seat/place for myself.

There were building works in front of the hotel, which was not mentioned on Booking.com nor when we booked by the hotel. Advanced warning of this would've been appreciated, as it was a shock when we arrived.
Very welcoming hotel. Amazing, friendly and helpful staff. Perfect location, just a short walk into Bangkok centre. The rooms were very well-equipped and comfortable. Late check-out was available at an additional charge. The pool area is nice for a city-centre hotel. Good value for money.

We had to pay 10€ for snacks from the minibar, which would have cost a lot more less in 7/11. we found the snacks overpriced.

The TV was lacking smart functions and, or, streaming capabilities. Daily housekeeping brought new towels and made beds, but nothing more than that.
Great stay for the price. Definitely recommended, good location, comfortable rooms; spacious bathrooms and good beds.

No dislikes, just know there’s a building site next door
Great location (a lot of building around the area) but still quiet, short walk to Koh San, temples & palace. Lovely staff. V helpful. Good breakfast & comfy beds. Good to have a pool on roof as BKK can get a little humid ;)

The construction work outside building the new tram stop was a bit noisy and inconvenient but that’s not the hotel’s fault.

The road across from the hotel was under construction, so walking was a bit noisy and dusty. The location is not great unless you want to spend much time in Khaosan road.
The hotel staff was exceptionally helpful, and breakfast was great. The rooftop swimming pool is not big but enough to relax and refresh after a sweaty day around city.
