How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

It was all good. Well worth paying the extra for the air con if you are there in the hot months
The hostel is brilliant value and a great location. We stayed there 3 times in 2 weeks as was so good and convenient

Beds were not the comfiest.
A great room in Krabi Town. Short walk to the town and river. The room itself is basic but has everything you need. AC works well. Staff were lovely, helpful and welcoming. Has a nice cafe on site

No lift facility. We had to walk up to 3rd floor.
Good clean and peaceful place to stay, nice location for city tour purposes. Nice staffs.

Would have liked a kettle in the room.
Very friendly helpful staff and the location was quiet but close to town and pier. Everything was spotlessly clean and we enjoyed time on the balcony overlooking beautiful garden. Loved the Greek style decor and lots of books and information to hand. Great value for money.

It’s a smallish room so good for a couple of nights but potentially not for longer stays.
Good location in Krabi Town. The AC worked really well and the room and bathrooms were really clean. Staff were really nice and helpful too.

Lovely, light-filled room with great open air bathroom and courtyard view. The staff were kind and even printed out my visa documents for free. Wonderful location.

The bathrooms had no AC so could get a little stuffy/hot. Otherwise it was really great!
Great location, not far from airport and walking distance from Krabi night market and plenty of other restaurants/cafes/shops. Room was comfortable with nice AC and they even provided a towel. Staff was super friendly and helpful!

The hostel has good value for the room rate while the room is clean and comfortable. The double room with air conditioning is pretty and I love the semi-outdoor shower which still provides privacy. The location of the hostel is also convenient, it is only 5 mins walk to street food market. I stayed for one night only for transit to Koh Lanta the next day.

Felt like I was in Greece. This might be the best hostel in whole krabi old town. Everything about it was so hygienic and perfect. Staff were very friendly. Exceeded all my expectations. I would definitely recommend it to others

I had one of the rooms downstairs, which are almost bungalows, with a little terrace in front of your door with chairs (I enjoyed it quite a lot at night). I was very pleased with the room which has great aesthetics, just like the bathroom (it is opened on the outside - no roof - so it feels fresh and nice when having a shower). I had to work during my stay and the room was perfect for that too. It almost felt like going back home at night, really. Plus, the staff is really, really nice. Contact was smooth and so pleasant. Nothing to say about the location - just perfect! I enjoyed it so much that I thought about staying longer or going back. A very peaceful moment.

No lift so after being told we were on the top floor, climbing 5 flights of stairs in 37 degree heat wasn’t fun - just an fyi not criticising.
We only stayed for one night before heading to Krabi airport but it was a nice rest stop. Two night markets a short walk away, but only one was on the night we stayed. Room was clean, and liked the vibes they went with for decor.

Is better the smoking area be in downstairs. In the second floor there was people smoking and my room was close to them. This is not nice for people who don’t smoke.
Very nice place. I enjoy one night stay in this hostel. My choice was a single room and was perfect. Need to chose the room with conditional air because is so hot sleeping without.

The staff were very friendly but they gave bad transport advice. 1. They told me I should pay 350 baht for a taxi from the airport to Chanchalay, but there's a really good 100 baht shuttle service. 2. They said the long boat to Railay leaves at 9.30 and 11.30. Not true - it leaves when there are 8 passengers.
Absolutely beautiful room, with open air bathroom and a lovely view of the courtyard from the little porch. A tv with 2 English channels (cna news and V music) was an added bonus. Great location, only a minute or so from the pier and bus station, and with plenty of 7/11s and restaurants.

I could smell cigarette smoke coming into my room from the outside smoking area.
Super helpful staff. Clean. Lovely aesthetic. Great location. Good aircon. Comfortable bed. Decent food. Definitely good value for money.
