Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaThe whole hotel is very tired and in need of a good renovation. A good clean up of the whole area around the pool , front entrance etc Rooms very clean apart from the blinds on the bathroom cover in probably a years worth of dust. Location is on main white sands beach opposite all the girly bars which are very noisy but fortunately we could not hear from our Villa.
Lovely pool overlooking the beach . Spacious rooms, comfortable bed. For what we paid its good value but from the reviews I read i think my expectations were unrealistic. Bell boy so helpful with cases and morning greetings

NetherlandsKeep in mind that there’s a difference between the hillside rooms and the “normal” ones, you have to walk across the street to go to the sea, pool and breakfast. The beds are very soft, if you’re used to the thai beds, you have to adjust a little😉 The hotel is located in an area where there are many “ladybars” we are two girls so we were fine, but if you’re a man they start talking to you.
The pool and sea are absolutely stunning. There are beds everywhere and towels. Breakfast was good, enough options for all sorts of diets. Staff is also very lovely.

ThailandI feel that maybe a beach would help the hotel. All other hotels seem to cleared the rocks. I stay at Kacha or KC normally. I would not return due to not having a beach

Location is very good if you want to stay near White Sand Beach. The hotel has direct access to the beach, but there are stones and not swimmable. Rooms were nice and clean. Staff were friendly and always smiling. Breakfast was good. Asian and European food. Have egg station where you can order omlet or scrambled egg. Never went hungry. Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay. Be aware of mosquitoes. Plenty in hillside building.

Loved this hotel, But got to see it from 2 sides. We were in a poolside villa which was stunning, very noisy air con and the hardest pillows ever, but the room was beautiful. Our teens were over the other side of the road in the hillside building (!!) They were very happy with rooms but a lot of mosquitos. The pool over our side was fantastic and the beds on side of sea to lie on were amazing. Kids loved the free sups and kayaks. Only thing we missed was not able to walk onto beach.

United KingdomFor the price we paid and the beautiful layout of the room, I wish it would have been a bit more clean (I found the sheets dirty one day, there was a lot of dust on the bathroom shutters which were left like that, bathtub was not cleaned properly when we arrived and it remained like that as well, the bathroom ceiling had marks of a leak, little things like this that takes away from the experience of it all).
Great location, only a 5 min walk from White Sand beach. For those who don’t want to walk, the pool is great, and there are also plenty of deck chairs with a great view. We loved our little house as we had all the privacy we needed. Very spacious, with a comfortable bed. Plenty of restaurants around with tasty and well priced food. Staff was lovely as well!

United KingdomFrom main hotel you can hear all the bars which are opposite all night long so you don't get much sleep. Needs some care and attention taken in some of the areas.
Nice hotel with pool over looking the sea. The main hotel is dated and good do with a freshen up, but it's clean & tidy. The rooms are extremely large which is unusual but okay and nothing to complain about Breakfast has something for everyone

PolandThe breakfast was acceptable but we expected something more for that price and in that place. I like thai breakfasts and options were really limited. The boiled rice was not good at all. Thumbs up for the omelette guy - good omelettes and always smiling. The biggest problem we had, which could also be easily managed, was the insufficient number of sunbeds at the pool and beach area, and even less sunbed covers (mattresses). People were constantly looking for sunbed covers, as lying on a bare sunbed was not comfortable at all, and always fighting for the best spots a the pool by leaving bags and things for half a day while going for lunch or whatever so that nobody else could use them. This is killing the mood in such a beautiful place and could easily be avoided by providing more sunbeds and enough covers for all of them. If the management doesn't want too many unused sunbeds spread out on the beach there could always be a pile of them in a corner ready to use for the guests. The resort aspires to be seen as a high-end one, this one thing could change a lot in the customer experience.
The villa was really spacious and comfortable. The AC was good and not too loud. The room service was there everyday to change sheets and towels, sweep the floor and provide drinking water, which was nice. On days we didn't need cleaning and hang the "not disturb" sign we got a bag with water and toilet paper waiting for us at the door. The staff was helpful and friendly. The pool was really big, the view and the sunsets incredible. The beach terrace was quite nice and spacious, with big trees offering shade. The location was good, with a convenience store just outside the resort, and lots of restaurants along the main road.
