This was the second time I stayed at Chanida home. I stayed here again, because I remember how friendly the staff was. The wooden house is lovely and the rooms are spacious and have everything you need (properly working airconditioning, a small fridge, hot water in a big shower). The receptionist is amazing!! His English is very good and you can tell he enjoys his job. He truly understands the meaning of the word ‘hospitality’. He is very helpful and can give you good tips and recommendations. You won’t regret staying at Chanida Home!

My shower had a crack so water leaked onto the bathroom floor. Room smelt very strongly of air freshner - yuk. The smell went once I'd found the air freshner and deactivated it.

Convenient location and helpful staff. Nicely presented reception and seating area. The polished floorboards are attractive and add to the atmosphere. Room was very clean.

Rather high pillows. The restaurant next door had a habit of playing music of varying volumes around mid-afternoon.

Good location (only a couple of blocks away from the exciting night market). Very friendly and courteous host who would go an extra mile to help. Simple but comfy room.

As the room was relatively big (a plus!), the AC struggled to cool it down. The room was in the first floor, with wooden floor that had some cracks, leading to some planks giving in when walking on it. We booked a sunset boat tour with them, but we returned before the sunset (might not be their fault, but still advertised as SUNSET temple tour).

The staff was super friendly and helped us organise our trips, without trying to sell us their own products. We were recommended the night market, which is in walking range of the accommodation (we can absolutely recommend visiting it!). The room included a fridge and glasses. They have a really nice common area, we spent quite some time there. The value for money is amazing!

The guesthouse was beautiful, an old wooden house. The host was so friendly! The guesthouse was a 12 minute walk from the old city, and a 8 minute walk from the night market. We very much enjoyed our stay!

No lift so it took some efforts to carry luggages up and downstairs. The room was clean but not really in the best condition. (No problem to us but some people may care)

Very friendly staff and beautiful old wooden house. Clean room. The hotel was close to a night market and not far from big supermarket. There was bike rental service as well.

Something needs some maintenance, for example, some details in the bedroom and the broken cement floor fragment that's on the bedroom floor in front of the bathroom door.

The hotel is located in the city center which is near everything that you want and need to make your trip enjoyable, and as comfortable as you can ask for in Ayutthaya

Lovely property with large bedrooms and bathroom which is an old Japanese style wooden building. Staff were fantastic, extremely friendly, helpful, explained the area and even arranged travel to the bus station free of charge.

Extra large room with a table & chairs & fridge. Was comfortable enough for Thai standards - the bed was hard but not as hard as we have had. Everything we needed was provided. Lovely lady & kids loved the pet cat.

the pillows on the bed are way too big! aware this sounds like a ridiculous complaint but they were so big that we couldnt sleep with one under our head because it hurt our necks. we both ended up putting some clothing/ travel towels into the pillowcase to use instead 🤣. super easy fix for the owners so don't let it put you off. if I had been staying a second night I would have asked if they had any others and they were so friendly I'm sure they would have sorted it

That we didn't have more tome to stay longer

Wonderful lady at front desk always smiling and so helpful. Rented bicycles for only 60 Baht a day and the boat ride around the river for only 200 baht was awesome. Great places to eat, drink and shop allaround; a great location. Beautiful old house, rooms are comfortable and great value fir m9ney.
