My stay in Tropicana was pleasant. The facilities are good, it's clean, breakfast has varieties, the staff is welcoming. In general I like open bathroom concept, it's especially nice during the day. However during night you need to count that all type of wildness can enter it and surprise you :D what I would highly suggest to hotel management is to add some net on the top which for example can manually be rolled over open part, for those people who prefer no surprises :) that would make it ideal.

it was not a problem for us but the restaurant wasn’t open for lunch or dinner but was advertised that it was just in case this hasn’t been updated. there are lots of places locally to eat and a mini market a short walk away. take a torch if you wander around at night and swear something fluorescent! Everything, the location was ideal for my needs. Beaches, bars, restaurants, shops all within a short distance. I will use this resort again when I return to koh lanta 🙏

It would have been nice if the outside spa had been hotter.

The service level was through the roof, and location was perfect because nothing was too far away but still you could enjoy the silence, and the biggest bathtub I've ever seen.

I loved everything. we got an update to a lodge and the room was perfect. Very spacious and the outside bathroom is super cool. The staff is very friendly and especially we loved the breakfast. It’s a relatively small buffet but you get everything you need and don’t have the struggle to try everything and roll back to your room after eating ;)

Hotel and rooms are very clean, amazing gardens around the property. The open-air bathrooms are a neat feature, beds were comfortable. The owner was lovely, providing excellent service and helping us organize trips.

The bathroom was outside I know others have rated this to be an amazing experience but when you’re British and the mosquitoes love you going outside at night to pee wasn’t nice nor was the cockroach than ran through the outside door when I opened it. So my score is low for this reason. The sink evrything is outside. and the toilet was in a bit of bad shape

I’ve rated low and because of only one reason but I have to say the staff were lovely the facilities were great and the pool was immaculate. Easy bike hire and was given very good information about everything to do etc on the island

The manager is not sympathetic You will have to pay for litteraly everything extra You don’t feel like a customer (i was asked to make change at 7/11 store in the very morning whereas i had a taxi to catch) And the most important : Impossible to refill the bottle of water which generate unnecessary waste. Please change this policy !

The accommodations are very nice Swimming pool, gym and breakfast are of good quality The employees are kind and pleasant.

Never in my life have I dealt with such rude staff. They treated us as if it was an inconvenience to have us there. We booked 2 separate bungalows and they became irritated when they asked us to share because they had over booked and we said this wouldn't be suitable. The reception staff roll their eyes at you and do not help you with anything....myself and my son were in a bad moped accident and struggled to walk...we had no help as our friend was in hospital for her injuries. The staff stood and watched as me and my 7 year Old hobbled up and down the steep paths bringing our luggage out. The rooms are not sound proofed at all....you can hear every single conversation from either side of your bungalow. Our first night we had some young travellers opposite who were up until 5 am drinking and shouting. The restaurant staff were just as rude, we wanted to order some food (during their official opening hours), we went to the resturant and noone was there to serve, I walked round the back to the kitchen and 3 members of staff were in there hiding and laughing at us. 1 came out to take our order of a very basic sandwich and fries, the food was vile and thrown together and took 45minutes! However, the resort next door to them is wonderful....we went there every day to eat and to get coffee etc.....they were very welcoming and friendly. Next time I would no doubt book there instead. I was looking forward to my stay at tropicana lanta due to good reviews. I was so shocked at how we were treated. Do disappointing. Don't waste your money here.

The setting is beautiful. Quirky feature having the bathroom outside. The pool is nice and it's pretty to have the plants etc everywhere. Koh lanta itself is absolutely beautiful...a wonderful island.
