The shower had encrusted soap crystals over the fixtures. The endcap of the shower head fixture kept on dropping off. The water temperature was too sensitive 1 mm to the right and it was too cold, 1 mm to the left and it was too hot. There was no sweet spot for warm water at all and the shower took three times longer to have, and a waste of water to boot

The location is far from the city Center and breakfast is very basic.

The property was clean and beautiful. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The service was exceptional and it helped that there were a few 7elevens around the hotel. We flew standby so they were very helpful and accommodating with our stay and extra nights

Nothing much nearby the area except a restaurant and 7-11. The area is quite busy so don't expect it would be convenient compare to the other hostels in the other area. I would recommend if you have a car but please consider that the area is not exactly friendly for foreigners. I also don't understand why they turn off air-condition when there are people staying in the room. Staffs can access the dormitory to do their chores such as moving the plants around and it is very noisy during the day.

The owners were so kind to offer me a parking spot in front of their house. Overall, the female dormitory dorm is safe, cleaner, and decent more than I thought it would be.

The staff were friendly and the room was new. The room was also large and had space to hang/place our luggage comfortably. Had a nice view of a small garden area too. Well worth staying and would recommend the small Cafe loulou next door too.

The hotel is beautiful. And the staff and owner were pretty helpful and made sure that I was comfortable throughout my stay . I’d definitely visit again and I highly recommend any other travelers seeking a stay during holiday to book with Cher Hostel.

Wifi connection issues! I had to connect to my own data sim card Quite a distance to walk from the nearest mrt, about 20 min But honestly I loveeee the 20 min walk! There were so many 7 11 along the way it was nice to walk by and look at what the locals are up to. MIND YOU, I was a solo traveller. So I walked all the way alone! SAFETY IS GUARANTEED.

It was peaceful and there many 7 11 along the road! PLS BOOK THIS HOSTEL! It’s literally like a 5 star hotel. I was a solo traveller, so I stayed in the private room! It was big enough!!!!!!! Nextflix in the tv was great too!

The walls were very thin, could hear neighbors very easily. You’ll need to hail a taxi to any popular spots.

There was no toilet roll sometimes in the bathrooms. Everything was great otherwise!

Loved the rooftop area nice views and comfortable bean bags to relax. The beds were nice and cosy. Dorms were nice and spacious. The location was great and central. Nice and clean bathrooms and rooms. The check in process was nice and easy and staff were nice. I would definitely come back and stay here.

The location is not ideal, 20 minute walk from the metro, however there is a bus stop close by.

The rooms are very comfortable, great beds, new furnished and beautiful styled. The area is perfect, nice restaurants, massage a cross the street, everything you will find there.

My adapter wouldn’t work in the plug by the bed because of the light switch being connected to it. A bit far from centre but the neighbourhood is cool and you can just grab motorbike everywhere for cheap anyway.

Very new and posh for a hostel. Great rooftop to chill on and a space for morning yoga too. The cubby holes are so private and spacious!

The breakfast was a bit ‘cheapy’. Only sugary and refined stuff. Would have loved to see some muesli and maybe some fruits and yogurt. Some healthier options would be more in line with the rest of the quality of the hostel.

The design of the entire place was outstanding. The sleeping pods in the female dorms were great. Met a lovely bunch of people there.
