Overall good value for money but not reccommended for a longer stay.

Although the beach is nice, the water in this part of the bay is very shallow and muddy and you cannot really take a swim (especially in the low tide there is basicaly no water left). The bungallows are quite basic (which is fine for the price) but in the bathroom you can encounter frogs and other animals every day which at some point can get quite annoying. The breakfast is also rather poor as you can alternate between omlette and fried eggs.

The place is in a quiet part of Ao Nam Mao with nice views and good nearby restaurants. It is quite close to Ao Nam Mao pier from where you can reach Railay in 20 min by boat. The best part of the stay was a boat trip to 4 islands organized by the host. We got a private tour (4 people) for a very good price and with flexible schedule.

There were no AC in the room which made it very hard to sleep as it was 36 degrees during the day and around 29 at night. Only a small fan to keep the air moving. And as the prize was so low, cleaning was just once a week. That made it a bit sandy for my taste. Still recommend it.

It was literally on the beach. Maybe 40 meters to the water. The surroundings were amazing, like living in the jungle. The staff was very friendly and they cooked amazing local Thai food. The prize for the stay was amazing, I think I paid €60 for three nights.

The water is very shallow for eternity. Extremely hot and not clear, muddy bottom. Not really suitable for a nice swimm. Bungalows are very basic (what you can expect) they are more or less bug free but cleaning could improve, as could the maintenance..

Relaxed surroundings. Breakfast was nice. Views are great. Right at the beach. Bungalow with a hammock (although not all bungalows had one). Despite the cons we had a great stay and enjoyed the laid back atmosphere

It’s on the beach. Basic facilities but everything you need. Good food on site. Mosquito net was really appreciated. Staff are friendly and helpful. The bar area is great and can be very sociable. Great value for the money.

No AC and fan inside the room is too small sometimes i can’t breathe inside so its better to be outside during the day and watch the beauty around. I don’t recommend for people who are scary about animals, you can actually hear animals who live under the roof you will experience true Thailand here. It’s more for courageous but i didn’t have any spider in my room luckily just gecons :D

Its on beautiful location. I can just open the door and jump into the sea :D Im in love watching sunsets from here also stuff here is friendly and helpful. Its really peaceful place like whole Thailand.

The property was a bit further out from the main Ao Nang beach location, about a 10mins drive by car. But it makes sense, for that kind of beach front seclusion to come at this price means that it would be further out. But it was no issue, I just used Grab to call for taxis.

My bungalow was so close to the beach that if there had been a tsunami, my room would be the first to be wiped out. Amazing location, I can see the waves crash on the shore from my bed. And the trees were strategically placed so that others cannot easily look into my bungalow either.

As elsewhere in Thailand, make sure you clarify the price of taxi rides or pick up/drop off services arranged by this property before you use them as these seem quite variable.

The property is located right on the beach and has spectacular views over the ocean at sunrise/sunset. The bar and chill out area is a great place to chat to staff and other travellers and if you rent a car, the rest of Krabi/Ao Nang/Phang Nga bay area becomes very accessible. Food and drinks are of a good standard (Ra's cocktails in particular are amazing!) and reasonably priced and the hostel has a very chilled vibe which is a welcome relief from some of the busyness that you experience elsewhere in Thailand.

Since the rooms are only fan cooled and there is no fridge or anything in the bungalows, it can get really hot during the day so beware of that

Beautiful place with a lot of nature and a private beach a few metres away. Hammocks and benches everywhere to relax and the staff is super friendly. Pets are welcome and the dogs are super friendly :)

Just seems a bit run down.

I want to start by saying the staff here were lovely. Helpful and kind. The cabin was clean and spacious with its own little veranda & hammock. It's literally on the beach so just a few steps away although it's not a sunbathing beach. You can swim but not at low tide as its a bit slimy underfoot. It's a super quiet beach with not much going on so ideal if you want peace & quiet. The use of a communal kettle & fridge was useful for drinks. I did like this place & had lovely neighbours but it just seems a bit tired. With a big tidy up around the huts, daily clean of communal areas and a bit of TLC, it could be so much better.

No, a.c makes the nights tough, fans and mosque nets, so not bad .

A leftover of a golden age of backpackers paradise. Don't be put off by the unglamorous entrance because when you're in, it's a beach setting like no other. Go to enjoy a layed back atmosphere that is hard to find in an increasing area of development. The family that runs it is a delight, especially the lady of the house. The huts are on the beach, and so is the boat you can rent from the man himself. Please don't go if you don't have a good book and a better attitude.
