Excellent excellent excellent! This was such a wonderful stay, can't recommend it enough. Staff was so helpful and really went above and beyond with the smallest touches to make you feel really welcomed. Wish I could have stayed longer!

The restaurant was so elegant and classy. The servers at the restaurant were attentive and professional. The chef is incredibly talented and every dish we ordered was beautifully presented. The front desk staff went over and beyond to assist us with restaurant recommendations and speaking to our tour guide to confirm our meet up time. The housekeeping staff were detail oriented and continuously refreshed all toiletries and linens in our room. They even noticed when the bath foam was half empty and refilled it the next morning. The marble pool had lots of shade and refuge from the hot sun.

The floors and little battle with insects from outside.

I love the attention to detail and how courteous the staff was. The glass pool room was beautiful but the floors seemed a bit worn and we had an encounter with some sort of flying bug and a fly both of which probably flew into the room when we opened the door to the pool or to go Out of the room. I regret that we checked in so late because the tempts dropped too much to enjoy the pool. The aesthetic is gorgeous and the set up for the outdoor bath was gorgeous but there were bees about the cherry blossoms. We did not use the tub for that reason. I’m happy for the experience and recommend this hotel.

If you arrive after 9pm the kitchen is closed and if you want an airport pick up book day before - minor hassles. Just a bit odd when rest of offer is 5 star.

Breakfast choice and service excellent, room was spotless and well appointed - air con worked and everything was easy to work out from the lights to the wireless. Could walk in to town and easy taxi rides to dinner

To be a 5 star I would want to see more food options, drink service at the pool and a bar. But this is getting nitpicky.

Beautiful architecture, sort of a nice mix of British influences with Thai culture, very nice. Our suite with private pool was extremely nice and couldn’t have asked for anything better.

We thought the room was a little bigger but turned out sqm included private pool and patio. It was a bit of a squeeze as we had a preteen with us. We made it work and everything else, especially fantastic staff and charming ambiance, were perfect. So we really enjoyed our stay. The included afternoon tea and special refreshing drinks will be missed.

The hotel was perfect. However a couple of small things that they might consider looking into to further improve guest experience.. 1. Would have been nice if the room pool water temperature could be adjusted. We found the water a bit cold on certain days even though it was quite hot outside. 2. Daily yoga classes or stretch classes would be nice! I’m sure there would be lot of takers even if a feee were to be charged!

The property was drop dead gorgeous especially the waterfall suite. Breakfast and afternoon tea were fantastic! Location very convenient - short walking distance to a lot of old town tourist spots. The staff were amazing. We will definitely come back!!!

There is nothing I didn't like.

Included in the breakfast price is an afternoon tea which was spectacular. The staff couldn't be friendlier and more helpful. It was the most beautiful hotel, every detail was well thought. We needed to stay on beyond check out time and the staff were very kind and accommodating.

The only bad experience we had at this hotel was check-in process. We arrive at 1:30 pm and official time for check-in is 3 pm. The lady at the reception told us that our room isn´t ready yet and let us to enjoy afternoon tea in the garden that was nothing just perfect! It was about 2:15 when we noticed that two new couples arrived and they allowed them to check-in. So we came to the reception to ask whether we can go into our room already. The lady at the reception simply answered: "No you can´t, check-in time is 3 pm". I told her we saw the other people who went into their rooms and she answered: "Yes but they stay in better rooms and these guests are more important for us". Honestly we were totally shocked! Like yes the official check-in time is 3 pm and I do respect that but how can the reception tell to their guests that they are not as important for them as other guests? :-( Everything else at this hotel was absolutely amazing including all the other staff but due to this behaviour of the receptionist I totally didn´t feel welcome here and I probably wouldn´t choose to stay here again. Such a shame. It´s not about the number of stars but it´s people who make a hotel 5* hotel.

Our room was just amazing, spacy with large and comfortable bed, clean bathroom and lovely bathtub at the balcony. All the food we had at this hotel was very delicious and we also appreciated swimming pool that was just perfect after exploring hot Chiang Mai. The location is very convenient.

The service at the hotel made every difference in the world. While the building and facilities/amenities were every bit as wonderful as we expected, the small touches, including hand written welcome note, afternoon tea, and packed sandwich for the plane took our stay above and beyond what we could have hoped for. The location of the hotel inside the old town is a real bonus in that you can walk easily to pretty much everywhere. The hotel itself is beautiful and the rooms ( we had a waterfall room ) , are literally spectacular. The staff are all charming and so helpful. The breakfast was the best we had in all our time in Thailand.

This has been by far the best stays I have had in a boutique property in a very long time. From the arrangements for my father’s 60th bday to everything else in between, this hotel is the perfect place to get real pampering. The food, especially has been exceptional and the service by staff was on point too. Kudos. Would love to visit again and relive the luxury.

Every thing about the property from located to the afternoon tea they serve is exceptional and the personal note in the room. The sweet dreams message that comes with the choclate was cherry on the cake. And the bath amenities they provide are of such a high standard.Haven’t seen it anywhere.
