Was a bit weird in that the apartment had a kitchen but it was empty so you had ti special order cutlery, bowls and plates etc. When we did they only provided enough for 2 people even though they knew there were for of us. Not a major, just a bit weird.

We had a 3 bedroom ground floor unit next to the pool. Because the mini apartment was long it meant the kids were down one end and us the other giving us much appreciated space. Bang Toa Beach was lovely to swim at and spend the day, much nicer than the other we visited. The hotel offer an easy transport service to and from the beach and local shops. Would definitely stay again. Food at their restaurant was pretty good, breakfast buffet was nothing special but adequate. There is also a little cafe next door not afflicted which was very reasonable and great to grab something from anytime of the day.

Toileteries provided only by one item and no body lotion is provided. Cleaning at times is poor with no floor mopping.

Nice apartment with all of the necessities. Good breakfast with omelette station, variety of bread, cheese, ham, sausages. Good range of fruits and vegetables. Shuttle bus to the beach and nrarest shopping area. Nice Thai restaurants and massage salons nearby.

There were not enough sunbeds and loungers. There was not a restaurant open every day in the evenings and during the day.

The pool area isn’t that big so can sometimes be a little tricky to get a lounger. People didn’t tend to stay by the pool too long though so they did free up.

Diamond resort was a really clean modern hotel with lovely clean rooms, friendly staff and a very aesthetic looking pool area. We only tried the pizza from the restaurant and that was delicious, unfortunately can’t comment on the rest.

Staff are very friendly and helpful; hotel provide shuttle bus service to Bangtao Beach, and Boatavenue is very convenient for us. Breakfast is very delicious!! Recommend to stay here for your Holiday!

Don't be swayed by a travel consultant coming in and promoting the Andaman Sea Kayak cruise including James Bond island. He told me -"don't go by speedboat because you won't get enough time to take some good pictures from a distance". Unfortunately I took his advice and booked with them - the most expensive slow cruise and we did not even go onto James Bond Island. Absolute disgusting waste of money. I had to go again by speedboat where I got the real James Bond island experience. I warn you, the Andaman cruises in the Andaman brochure (including Panak caves) (Adult 3,700 Baht) are by far the worst tour. That guy should be ashamed of himself. The guy who sold me this does not work at Diamond Resort - he just happened to be there for a few hours spruking business. Just to confirm, the other Andaman tours by speedboat or Long tail Boat are fine, just not the BIG two story boat. The guy that works the tour desk for Diamond resort - "Ton" is fantastic.

All the hotel staff were lovely, very happy and very helpful. The buffet breakfast was superb and the pool and grounds were beautiful. The room was beautiful and clean and we loved the location being in a quieter part of Phuket, with Bang Tao beach only 2 minutes away by the free beach shuttle bus every half hour. Couldn't have asked for a more wonderful stay. Don't miss dining at the Golden Fish Restaurant on Bang Tao Beach. The absolute best food by far anywhere on Phuket and cheap as chips! The best Beach Club and fire shows - MAYA Bar (Next door to The Golden Fish restaurant) Will definitely be back. Miss you guys.

The pool was in the shadow most part of the day and quite noisy, so I wouldn't recommmend to book this hotel if you plan to spend a lot of time at the pool. There is not much in walking distance, you need to use the free shuttle or taxi to get to anywhere basically.

The best part of the hotel was the room which was very modern and clean, air con in every room and two toilets (in two bedroom suite). Breakfast was tasty and had enough variety. The suffle to the beach and town was handy and worked perfectly, although you had to book it 30 min in advance. Service of the staff was perfect and friendly.

Footpaths only some of the way to the beach. Could be challenging when traffic was busy.

Room was modern, well laid out and clean. 50m pool was nice and shaded from midday heat. Beach about 15 minute walk from hotel.

It was really hard to get a sun bed by the pool. We stayed in February and then again in March but the pool was always full of people and almost always all sun beds were occupied. But I guess it’s like that everywhere;)

The resort is perfect for a family vacation. Excellent big swimming pool with little kids area, floating red pillows add even more fun to the pool. Rooms are new and clean, very well equipped even for living long terms. Room service very sweet, staff in general very friendly and helpful. Genius buffet breakfast at the restaurant on site! It really offers everything one could wish for: European, Asian, sweet and savory - even freshly baked croissants are served. Really high standard breakfast, not so often to find in Thailand. Wifi in the rooms worked perfectly well, no problems with shower or toilets. Didn’t use the shuttle bus since we had a car, but saw it all the time coming and going. Location is very nice especially if you have a car: 10 min to beautiful Surin beach and only 5 min to the nearest Bang Rap beach (or about 10-15 min by feet). The highlight for me was the small local restaurant “Good Refresh” just next to the resort. It offers all popular Thai dishes at local prices and all kinds of fruit shakes and smoothies + really good coffee that one can enjoy by the resort’s pool:)

Needed a mode of transport to get to most locations - town, and beach - but, free shuttle service and reasonable taxi service made up for the very mild inconvenience.

Staff are very friendly & accommodating even with last minute requests. They can organise day trips for you too…we went to Phuket Elephant Care & loved every minute! Hotel is very modern with clean finish’s. Hotel provide free shuttle very frequently to beach & shopping area which is great

We were really happy with our 7 night stay at diamond resort. It was great value, given that we needed a room with 2 bedrooms for our 2.5 and 9 yr old. The staff at the front desk were amazing and so good with my toddler. She kept wanting to go back to reception to say hello to the staff. Ton at the booking desk was great and we booked the water park and twilight sea canoes, each day was great. Like others have said the hotel restaurant is amazing and they also provide room service which is useful with young children. We would stay again, Thanks from Freya and Kalum

The balcony wasn’t usable as the air con units sit right on the side of the wall so it was too hot to sit out next to them unless air con was switched off, which we couldn’t do because our daughter was sleeping in the bedroom.

Excellent location and free shuttle bus allowed us to easily get to and from the beach. Family friendly hotel with excellent dining onsite.

Cleaning service sometimes was late.

We had a great stay :) Room was quite big and comfortable, there is a swimming pool so we could get some relief in a hot day. Free shuttle service to the beach and market. Restaruant in the hotel is a bit expensive but definitely good quality and tasty. And mostly, there is a super nice staff, especially the guy from tourist information, who can book some organized attractions for you or tell you something about Phuket and what is worth visiting.
