Au and his mother were absolutely amazing hosts, they were so friendly and made us feel so welcome. The room was spotless and the bed so comfortable, our best night sleep in Thailand! We absolutely loved Chiang Dao and Dreamhome was a huge part of why we loved it so much. We'd love to return!

We had a room with a balcony with an amazing view of the mountain. Location was great for visiting Chiang Dao and the lady owner was very hospitable. We arrived on the night of the Shambhala festival which we had no idea about. The owner gave us directions and information on this festival which we are most grateful for as it was an experience indeed. The next morning at breakfast, as it was Chinese New Year, she cooked long life noodles for me, in addition to the wonderful western breakfast we had. Food was excellent, and we highly recommend this place.

The staff are amazing. The lady that runs the place is so friendly and she makes a delicious breakfast. I stayed in 2 different rooms and both were great…clean and with good views of the mountains and surrounding area. I would definitely stay again if I was in the area.

You need a car or motorbike to go anywhere. But that is why it's quiet.

It is a lovely and peaceful place. The host is very nice and friendly. And breakfast, just delicious.

The location and views are absolutely stunning!! The value for money here is incredible. Amazing breakfast (we are vegetarian and it was absolutely no problem. The homemade jam is so delicious), very sweet owner who helped us with anything we needed. You can also rent scooter directly from her which makes everything so much easier. She can give you great advice where to go and she helped us with getting transportation to and from the bus station. The location is simply perfect. Close to the national park, cave and hot springs. We spent a lot of time in the Dreamhone simply because it f the atmosphere and beauty of the place. Highly recommended!! ❤️

Lovely owners and staff who took really great care of me during my 7 nights stay. I enjoyed conversations with the mom and being pampered with food, lots of delicious food by her. Such a wonderful, motherly host! My room was very clean, the WiFi worked well, and I slept so well at night listening to the sounds of nature outside. The son was always smiling brightly no matter how busy or tired he was. Both he and his mom drove me 3.5 hours away to Chiang Rai after I checked out. It was a tiring journey for them, having to make a 7-hour journey in total but they did it with lots of smile and such wonderful generous spirit. They were also always checking on me to make sure I was comfortable during the ride and not feeling car sick. The cute dogs in the guest house were such a joy to get back to each time I went out. The location is a little remote, which is part of the charm. Breakfast is free (make sure to order their cappuccino it costs extra but is sooo good!) and dinner can usually be arranged if you let them know beforehand. There is also a nice cafe nearby. Overall, I feel that the family running this guesthouse works really hard to take care of their guests and making us part of their family. I am so grateful to have found this lovely haven and definitely recommend every one to come here. Enjoy the surrounding nature and exceptional hospitality of the owners. Thank you for taking care of me!

Beautiful, deeply peaceful place with amazing views of the mountain. Staff were wonderful, kind and very helpful, including pick ups and drop offs to the bus station. Motorbikes and bicycles available to rent. Flawless experience, Chiang Dao is all about relaxing in a very peaceful setting, and Dreamhome is exactly that.

It was very cold at night, you may need a coupleof blankets, so ask if there aren't any in the room

Beautiful views and the sunset from the porch was gorgeous. Very quiet. Great breakfast. Rooms are nice and spacious. You do need a car or motorbike to get around, but the hosts can help with that. Hosts are very accommodating and helpful.
