The beach itself is rocky and not great for a swim.

We pretty much everything. The room was really comfy, clean, and a great place to escape the heat. The breakfast spread was great for me and my vegan partner. The place seemed to be pretty full but was still relaxing and quiet, and we had the pool to ourselves a lot of the time. The location was perfect, with plenty of food, bars, shops and my favourite beach on the island within easy walking distance. And possibly the most stunning sunsets I've ever seen.

Staff at reception were excellent, very helpful and easy to deal with. Beautiful bungalows, they were well maintained and had comfortable beds. Bathrooms very clean and showers worked well. Breakfast dining area is very pleasant to sit in the morning near to the beach and breakfast was great.

The Pool is very nice, see view with sun set and you can just walk to the beach. Also the beach is nice, not long with white sand but very natural. Good and well maintain with eco care.

The swimming pools look fabulous, but during our stay, the water was so hot that swimming was uncomfortable. Although the resort extends directly to the beach - it is quite rocky - and not a swimming beach - especially at low tide. But - it looks great with a sunset at high tide!

The resort is like a tropical jungle retreat. It is very quiet and relaxing. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast. Some of the rooms and walkways are starting to show signs of wear and tear. Both pools are large and very clean. There are many good restaurants within 10 minutes walk of this resort. Not perfect! - but would be happy to stay here again.

They don't put tea bags or coffee sachet in room with the kettle. Quite strange for such a small gesture in such a grand Hotel. I was offered a t bag but it didn't arrive. However they were forgiven for the surprise (delcious) flan they brought to me for me birthday! ☺

Loved everything! The hotel is beautful, the environment is very peaceful. The staff is lovely. There is really attention to details which I appreciate 2 pools although the largest one is not to be used by children under 16 in theory. The breakfast is fantastic, far above any other hotels we stayed in Thailand. We didnt have transport but there are shops and restaurants and everything you need walking distance. I defintely would stay again.

Gaja Puri Resort in Koh Chang, Thailand, provided an absolutely enchanting escape for my partner and me. Staying in a beachfront villa, we were treated to stunning, panoramic views of the ocean that could be enjoyed right from the comfort of our accommodation. The villa itself was beautifully designed with traditional Thai elements, offering both luxury and privacy. Waking up to the soothing sounds of the waves and watching the sunset over the water were highlights of our stay. The resort's staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring all our needs were catered to with a warm smile. Although we ventured out occasionally, the resort's serene atmosphere and beautiful landscaping made it tempting to stay in and relax. Gaja Puri is truly a jewel on Koh Chang, perfect for couples looking for a romantic and peaceful beachside retreat. We left feeling rejuvenated and are eager to return.

Never ever have I experienced such a friendly staff. They made us feel so warmly welcome every time we met someone. Very nice surroundings, huge swimming pool with a romantic view. Wonderful breakfast with lots home made food (yoghurt, jams, bread,…). Great room with comfortable beds. Even if I tried I wouldn’t be able to fine a single word of criticism.

We had a Superior room with two sunbeds and a table on the outside patio which was lovely. As our decking was so large, would have been nice to have a normal patio set as well. Whilst there was hedging for some privacy it wasn't fully enclosed. I would still however highly recommend Room 519!

Located in the Centre of Kai Bea but lovely and quiet. There are lots of rocks off the beach but walk further up and swimming in sea possible. Two great sized swimming pools, amazing breakfast choice and lovely staff.

The beach is very small and swimming from the beach is a challenge due to shallow water, rocks and sea urchins. However that is what nature created there so no fault to the hotel. There are wider beaches within a short driving distance.

A very nice resort. We stayed in a beach front bungalow. Very comfortable, clean and and all functioning. The staff at this place deserve a cheer. So friendly and helpful. Really made the stay extra nice. Also great that they have a family part and an adults only part of the resort. Done in a way that it does not limit anybody's fun and comfort. Great swimming pool. Right outside of the hotel is a very lively area with many restaurants, shops and bars.
