This was the third time we have stayed at this resort and the first after Covid. The staff and feel of the hotel have not changed, however it along with so many other small hotels have struggled whilst Thailand was in lockdown. They are finding their feet again and there are issues such as the decking around the pool area which are in need of attention which they appear to be fixing. The complimentary transport into khoa Lak which was offered by the hotel has been stopped but for the main the hotel still remains a quiet tranquil place where you feel that you are in the heart of a tropical paradise yet just a short walk away from restaurants and bars and a few steps from the best beaches in this part of Thailand.

Breakfast which was included was fantastic it had everything from fresh fruits, cereals, yougurts, various fruit juices, breads, omelette and eggs prepared to your request, continental cheeses and hams, local hot Thai dishes and of course tea and coffee. All provided by helpful and friendly staff.

Big comfy bungalows in a beautiful garden setting with big bathroom, shower and covered outdoor bath. Nice deck outside overlooking the greenery and water. Lovely pool tucked away in the lush garden. We were only a few in this garden resort, so it was perfect. The place had some storm damage at the lobby from a week before, but they were restoring it - not that it was any nuisance at all. The lovely long beach is only crossing a very quiet road, so really convenient. It's good to have your own transport, as it is in a quiet area, but there are taxis closer to the resorts.

We paid around 40€ per night/room incl. breakfast in a standard room. Keeping this low price in mind, we are in no position to complain as it was great value. However, the whole resort is very run down, all buildings are desperate for some fresh paint and renovation. AC was super noisy and the room smelled musty. The wooden floor at the pool is a hazard zone for small children, with lose panels and rusty nails sticking out everywhere. Also watch out for missing or sharp edged tiles inside the pool. We traveled with a 15 months old so these things were a serious problem, as we couldn’t let him walk around alone for a second. Lastly, If you are planning on renting a scooter, better get it from the rental next door - we got a super old scooter in very bad condition for the same price as the much better ones outside. Apart from all these aspects, we are happy to stay here at such a great price and would come again! The place definitely has the potential to be a 5* resort and probably was previously.

This resort is nestled in a small tropical jungle and you feel like entering another world, totally secluded and in peace. The pool is a tropical paradise. The breakfast was yummy, offering an omelette station, fresh pancakes, yoghurt and everything you’d expect from a “western style” breakfast. The food in the restaurant was fantastic and better than what the surrounding restaurants offered. The beautiful beach is just across the small road, which we had to ourselves most of the time. The area is very quiet - something hard to find in Thailand these days.

We travelled here to stay for one night initially but stayed 4 more nights! It has a real jungle character with a luxurious touch! The beach is the most beautiful thing we have ever seen. it’s so clean with white sand! we was a family with a two year old and thought it was just perfect. Breakfast is amazing, simple but done really well. all staff were friendly and happy! the pool area is amazing also.

Wonderful place of beauty and relaxation with great jungle feeling. We spent dream holidays there! Staff are great, nice and smiling. Restaurant was very good, and generous portions. We found the restaurant much better than the places serving food on the street in the vicinity. Would gladly return and can only recommend!

As we're backpacking and had some clothes to wash, we decided to have the laundry done - bad choice. We paid more than a thousand baht for not even a basket of clothes - apart from that, the resort is nice. Be aware though that the location isn't too central. A rental scooter would be recommended.

We travelled to Haadson Resort in the end of september - thus, it was raining season and we were almost the only guests in the resort. The staff is extremely welcoming and friendly, the rooms are clean and designed in a modern, minimalistic way. There's a lovely pool which you can use if you're deciding not to go to the beach (just across a small street). Would definitely come again!
