A/c was not consistent. It took long time (a whole day !) for the temperature to get to the cool temperature that we wanted. We had to request to change the first room assigned since the remote control for the A/c was broken & a half an hour later, after staff changed the remote control, we found out we could not flush the toilet when using only a piece of toilet paper! I checked out late at night & too tired to request another room until the next morning.

Location was good. Beds & pillows were comfortable. Some staff like China, the front desk receptionist, was nice, courteous & provided excellent services. They had laundry services at site (took only 3 hours to finish our laundry) at a very affordable price (110 baht per laundry, no matter what the weight of clothes was). Bike was free to use if needed.

Cleaning needs to be improved. Lots of hairs in the room and the floor had clearly not been mopped before we entered (dirt and something spilt on the floor). I would also recommend some attention to the breakfast provided - it was good, but there’s a few things from a food safety perspective that needs attention (eg shared butter, large pile of chicken nuggets etc sitting with no cover / refrigeration or heating for hours)

Quite a bit of noise from the hallway, poorly designed universal power outlets whereby the use of a UK plug hinders the use of the light switch

The hotel is very well located a short walk to the Chiang Rai night market. The reception staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. My room didn't have the promised city view but it did open to overlook the indoor swimming pool. The room was a good size with a massive fridge. The availability of a washing machine is a bonus.

The loud music. I realize that’s not the hotels fault but it was annoying.

Every thing was good until the evening and the music was so loud we couldn’t sleep. The breakfast was great with many choices . Near markets, shopping,restaurants and street food. Staff was very pleasant. Good accommodation

The bathroom is really old and moldy. Especially the shower. It feels dirty to step foot in it.

During our 4-night stay, we could not find how to get hot water in the bathroom. We probably could have requested help, but we did not. So, this was our choice and we would not penalized this splendid hotel just for that (the weather in Chang Rai is quite hot and allows taking room temperature showers). I am sure hot water is accessible but we were too lazy to ask.

The location could not be better. We would walk to every interesting point of Chiang Rai (bus terminal, several markets, etc). Large and quiet room (we had asked for and received a room above the 1st floor in order to avoid the possible noise of the indoor swimming pool: we have not seen anybody around the pool, anyway). Thai people are famous for their courtesy: the staff of this hotel meets the highest criteria. We didn't try the breakfast (so easy and cheap to eat outside), but it looked very nice. We were required to leave a 500 Bahts deposit in cash on the entrance, which was returned to us immediately upon check out. This seems to be a normal procedure in the country.

The floors are a bit squeaky and you can hear some noises from the hall but it was not a big deal and it didn’t bother us.

Pool was more for decoration than to be used as it's in the centre of the hotel next to reception

The hotel was excellent with very helpful staff. The location was great as it was in the centre near the night bazaar which is excellent
