Front staff was not too accommodating. They did not tell us that we have to reserve for dinner. It was WRONG to use the Hmong word to deceive Hmong oversea, in thinking that it was Hmong owned. Using Hmong to benefit is quite perplexing. There was only one Hmong staff and the only thing about Hmong is the cultural presentation by local Hmong in the village.

it was a bit cold so the room was freezing but we had a great view of the hills...dramatic scenery. as it was New Years it was pretty busy there but the staff were pleasant. loved the shared fire place tho it could have been made cozier

The menu was a bit limited. The hut we stayed in was clearly very old, with very creaky floors. It was impossible to go to the bathroom in the night without waking or being woken up.

I chose this place because of the view of the pool with the gorgeous mountain backdrop, and it didn't disappoint. It was however, a bit too cold to jump into the water. I loved that the log fire was lit every night, and my husband made friends with the local, very friendly, four-legged cat brigade. They seemed to be well looked after but they also seemed to live under the accommodations and shoed away from the restaurant. I was mildly disappointed with the breakfast, but that's possibly because I'm not much of a fried-breakfast person, so I opted for the chicken soup and rice, and fresh fruit. That said, the dinners were great.

The website paints it to be a little more inclusive than it is. There were no performances or cultural activities as stated. Breakfast buffet was very sparse. I wish the staff was a little more experienced in dealing with guests and could speak/understand languages aside from Thai (if only to get an extra blanket when needed).

The setting is lovely. Grounds are very well kept. Dining area in main lodge is nicely done. A relaxing rustic retreat.

there are maybe 3 rooms in 1 house but we were surprised that we stayed in the same house of their worker even we paid for delux room!!! Many equipments are under the house we had stayed.

The staff is very friendly. We visited during the Christmas Eve and they gave every guest a Christmas hat and some small gifts while we having the dinner. Located in the mountains area. It's a bit cold at night but they provided a small heater in the room which is very thoughtful.

It's well past it's use by date. Time to demolish all rooms and modernise the place. Now bordering on rustic. Ordinary breakfast. Room (superior) smelling musty. Staff not much help and had to lug luggage up gravel path to reception. All pathways gravel so cannot use wheels on luggage. No umbrellas around swimming pool loungers. Much better value elsewhere. Looked like it's not being frequented much as only one other guest.

This place is magical. If u are having a trip in Thailand and need a few days of relax, you can’t find a better place! One hour away from Chiang Mai, The jungle , the swimming pool, the friendly and smiling personal that is always ready to satisfy every request. We had a delicious breakfast and dinner, were invited to a typical performance from the village people and had a bungalow with mountains view. We needed to wash our stuff and for few money they could help us too. Our little girls and us really enjoyed our staying! Thank you to the whole team for having us.

Staff was unfriendly. Only staff one Hmong speaking employee. Not Hmong owner.

I think that this is a pretend make to be like the Hmong for business purposes only. They only have western food. The bedding and linens may somewhat look alike Hmong but it’s owner is not Hmong. The food are western style and dinner is for a price way too much. We were hoping to go back to our culture to experience and relive the lifestyle our parents raised but we couldn’t find any real Hmong food. Also the staff were rude and denied from watch the culture show.

Dark room .we had to find reception staff to check in .And also at evening meal they were not really there to help . We had to go and ask for everything . They seemed more bothered about a coach party than us and we saw a couple waiting to be seated who eventually walked away after 10 minutes of no one going to see them ( they were at a sign that said 'please wait here to be seated"😩😁. I know covid might have reduced the staff needed there but it wasn't good at all

Big room . Good hot shower ..fire pit at night to keep warm in the grounds . Nice grounds . Pool is nice but very cold (it's winter here so not a problem ) .

The location was fabulous to escape the hustle and bustle of the city of Chiang Mai. The view up into the mountain was awesome and you can admire the view whilst lounging in the pool or from the comfort of the spacious lodge.
