Not a lot!

A vey quiet oasis of calm on the river. Wonderfully friendly and welcoming family run this hotel. The young lady who was our host spoke good English and helped us greatly with our stay - she booked a boat trip and a dinner cruise for us, and explained lots of local sites. The room was well-appointed, with a fridge and good toiletries. The air-conditioning was most welcome. Coffee and pastry breakfast was served in the little café on site. Lovely terrace overlooking the river. Everything in Ayutthaya is within an easy tuktuk or taxi journey if you don’t fancy a walk in the heat!

Everything was perfect in the room. Located in the heart of Ayuthaya was heritage temples. We had very nice coffee and pastries offered to us.

Perfect place to visit Ayutthaya. This impeccably clean property is within walking distance of several of Ayutthaya's main temples. Which is great if you want to visit them after the day-crowd is gone. And the terrace looking out onto the river is the perfect place to relax. It's a family business and they're all very friendly. The daughter runs the reception/café and she's very helpful with recommendations and any question I had.

Everything was fine…

Nice clean room, comfortable bed and linen. The property sits next to the river and has a relaxing large deck with outdoor furniture to sit and enjoy the river and the boats as they go by.

Absolutely nothing 😊

This was the best stay of our trip in that there was so much attention to our comfort. The staff/owners were very attentive to any need…..arranging trips, giving tips for visits to local sights, night markets etc. Nothing too much. The location next to the river was the best to watch all the wildlife and sunsets. The breakfast was excellent! 11 out of 10 😊

We slept excellently in the Romyen Cafe with the very good mattresses. The terrace directly on the Klong is beautifully designed and the best place to enjoy a coffee and a delicious croissant in the morning. The location within walking distance of most of the ancient temples and the night market is perfect. Highly Recommended!

The room and hotel terrace were delightful. The owner was very helpful and organised a great private boat trip for us where we were picked up from the hotel pier. Absolutely loved our stay. Perfect.

We left at 8 am - and it wouldn’t have been too much of a stretch to have a coffee before we left . Beware the morning traffic crossing bridge to station was desperate- we missed our train and should have given ourselves an hour

Comfortable very clean room . Lovely terrace by the river to watch the world go buy . Can take your own food and drinks .Theres a small 7/11 next door .Perfect for walking to central historical sites and restaurants also within walking distance .They arranged the afternoon boat trip for us .Nice coffee and pastry after 8am!

Nothing - perfect for us

Nice little oasis by the river but close enough to walk to the main historical park. We hired bikes from Romyen and went around the parks which was lovely. Bikes were in need of a little maintenance but at a £1 a day seems like a good deal!

Charming boutique hotel, in a prime location at a walking distance of several temples and the Ayutthaya night market (our prefered one in two weeks in Thailand). Friendly staff and delicious coffee to be taken on the terrasse next to the river. Very clean and fully equiped room. Practical laundry and 7/11 next door. Easy to park in the street in front of the hotel.

Not really a big issue but maybe good for other guests to know that the place is like a building court with yard around the owner house so it feels like everything was cramped up in that court yard, making it less private and sometimes other guests appear bothering others (smoking, partying, etc.). Also if you come with a car, it's difficult to drive into the yard and to get out. but parking on the street outside is not really an issue. A few other glitches like shower didn't function well. but no really big issues.

The room was clean (much cleaner than the average local Thai resorts). The bed was very comfortable and everything functioned as they should.. more or less. Also staff were friendly, attentive and did their effort to service and make you feel welcomed. Location is excellent, walking distance to the temples.

Nothing really. Shower temperature was a bit hit and miss, but it was so hot outside that it didn't really matter.

Extremely clean and comfortable guesthouse. Very nice host, a simple breakfast of coffee plus a bakery product, and a peaceful garden to sit in next to the canal. Very comfy bed. Walking distance to all the main temples.

The rooms are very clean and have a nice shower; the property’s deck above the river is a lovely place to sit in the morning and in the heat of the afternoons, plenty of birds and water monitors to watch! We appreciated the good coffees and baked goods, the opportunity to do laundry and rent bikes right there, and we really appreciated all of the assistance with making dinner reservations & reserving rides. The location is a short walk to Wat Ratchaburana and Wat Mahathat, a short walk to the weekend night market, and an easy bike ride to Wat Phra Si sanphret, but you do need to take/get a car to most restaurants. Highly recommend!

There was nothing that we didn’t like. The boat trip the owner arranged was nice and was just something to do to pass the time. I would have liked a safe to store passports and cash.

Excellent location. Safe. Very clean. AC great. Attentive owner. Delicious drinks from the cafe. 7-11 conveniently next door. We really loved being so close to the wonderful night market next to the temple ruins. This was the best part.
