How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The only thing I missed was a shared fridge to put food I bought
I fell in love with this place, 2 nights became 7 Good location, clean, amazing staff, air con works well, wifi is fast and reliable for work and gaming (28 mbps) The breakfast is incredible and they provide tea, coffee and pop corn all day long You can buy food at the hostel for a good price and they cook really well. The hostel is very social but also has space for relaxing 10/10

The toilet paper was often missing in the toilet.
Smiling and very helpful staff. They can organise your transportation or scooter rental as well. Breakfast was amazing. The location is great, just a short walk from the beach and loads of mini markets, cafes, bars and restaurants.

The dirty wet mop in the 2nd floor shower grossed me out every time I took a shower 😅 I feel like it should just be kept outside of the shower, but it's a very small detail, it can easily be fixed :)
The breakfast is WOW! Lovely staff, always checking on their guests, asking how their day went and making recommendations. They got above and beyond 🥰 Lots of boardgames available in the common area. 3 minutes walk from long beach, where you can watch the sunset. Loved the welcome juice & cookies! Such a sweet attention.

Only thing was construction right outside the property so not proper access I actually fell through the floor one evening as they have some makeshift stairs

Stuff is so friendly. Breakfast is very good. People here are talkative and its very cozy. Always popcorn pops it up and coffee makes it even better. Nicest hostel in my whole Thailand trip.

the manager (woman) was watching every little thing I did, I did not felt free to chill many times, I think because I was not blond like the common European man.
the breakfast bus awesome, fruits, eggs, toasts, jam, muffins, bananas, free water, coffee milk. The staff is really nice, the food on the hostel is amazing definitely you don't have to got outside to eat it's very filling an cheap.

Beds are too hard for me A/C didn't reach the end of the room so got too hot sometimes at night

The roof of the outside area is not waterproof, so during rainy days you can't use it.
Nice place for the money. The breakfast is amazing. Friendly staff. Snorkeling googles to use for free. You can rent a scooter there. Beds are good, lamp, outlet and curtains.

The airco could only be on from 16u00 until 10u00 so if you wanted to chill during the day in the room it was hot (the common room was chill tho so not that big of a problem). The internet was also not always good but good enough.
They where very helpfull, friendly and overal nice. The prices for the trips where very correct. Also the food they sell is nice and cheap!

Amazing staff and a lovely little clean hostel where you’ll no doubt meet amazing people. Super clean and fab amenities like free breakfast, popcorn and snacks throughout the day. The Pad Thai here is also one of the best I’ve ever eaten.

Only thing is it’s not super walkable but most of the island isn’t so can’t complain really.
Staff were amazing! So kind and helpful! It was super clean and beds were perfect! They had loads of stuff you could borrow like umbrellas, beach mats snorkels etc. they had free tea and coffee, fruit and popcorn all day. Free breakfast included in your stay - eggs how you liked them, fruit and buns. Loved it :)

The air con is turned off from 10-5. Only two showers available for everyone but no issue.
The staff were so nice, and so helpful! Beds were comfortable. Free breakfast, water and popcorn available. Cheep beer.
