Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaSuggestion rather than dislike - A few shaded pool style layback lounges would be nice. Deck chairs OK but not super for a long relax.
Comfy room and facilities. Nice deck for afternoon lazing about. Great bathroom. Nice bar area looking out to sea. There is a swimming beach and good food nearby. Very friendly staff, always open to helping out. Good English spoken. Ok breakfast.

United KingdomThere are a lot of stray dogs around that can be quite noisy through the night. Didn't put us off but it might if you're nervous around dogs.
We stayed for 3 nights at Inhale & loved it. The rooms were lovely & well equipped with a comfortable bed. We really enjoyed the outdoor bathroom it was very private. The whole place had a lovely relaxed vibe to chill out for a few days. The breakfast was delicious & very well presented & we were lucky enough to see a dugong whilst having breakfast during high tide. Only a 10 minute stroll in to the village along the sea shore where there's plenty of places to stop & have a drink or a bite to eat or its ony 50 baht in a taxi per person to anywhere on the island. We enjoyed the whole experience of koh mook & inhale so much so we've already booked to go again next year!

United KingdomThe hotel has amazing garden area where you you just relax in the sun and read your book. The room was very clean and comfortable. You definitely need a bug repellent spay as there are a lot of mosquitoes which is what we expected as the island is 80 % jungle. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The breakfast is brilliant, one morning we have the sweet and savory waffles, we couldn't finished then, it was too much.

We absolutely loved Inhale and absolutely loved Mook, a lovely change from overdevelopment. Our bungalow was great in every respect, the staff were outstanding and the breakfast perfect. A 100B ‘taxi’ from Charlie Beach or a short stroll to the nearer one, a completely relaxed vibe all round. Outstanding, we are already talking about going back.

GermanyWe didn’t find anything that we didn’t like. 🤷♂️
The location is based directly at the seaside. It has a really nice bar and a few bungalows. It’s been reachable within a 5-10 min walk from the pier. Just leave the pier and turn right. When you go straight ahead you will find it directly. The bungalows have a nice terrace with a stunning seaview. The room is cosy. The best part of the bungalow been the bathroom. It’s at the outside under the same roof of the bungalow. No one can take a look into it. The rain shower feels like pure luxury. You feel like having a shower outside but you are not. Awesome. The staff been always friendly and helpful. Book your stay with a breakfast! The owners put a lot of heart in it. It has been very delicious and very good looking too. Unfortunately the location has no beach. But you will reach one within a few minutes walk. We really loved this place. It’s been the best of 5 we had of our 3 weeks trip through Thailand. You will always feel welcome at Inhale @ Hill.

CyprusNothing, loved this place!
Loved everything about Inhale. The premises are beautiful and so well kept, it really feels like being in a little piece of heaven. The room/bungalow is designed to perfection - every detail is meant to give you comfort and be pleasant to the eye. All is just superbly well thought!! From the water outside the room to wash your feet, to the hangers wherever needed, the drinking water, the electricity extension, the perfect outside bathroom, the spotless cleaning.. to the beautiful little balcony overlooking the gardens and sea and the beautiful design and attention to details. Breakfast is simply delicious, and served every morning in the most beautiful bar. Last but not least, the staff is absolutely lovely and will go above and beyond to assist you with a smile. They arranged for us tours and transport and everything was impeccable. I cannot wait to be back!!

SloveniaThat we had to leave.
It was a wonderful stay with really helpful staff. Our room was spacious and really clean!! Actually we never had such a clean room in Thailand. We booked all our transfers through the hotel which worked perfect! We also booked a private boat trip at the hotel and it was marvelous - we can highly recommend it. Breakfast is a-la-carte and really good. Cocktails, fruit shakes and non-alcoholic drinks are served nicley and taste good. Overall a perfect stay! Special thanks to Ann, Lisa and Tu! We would definitely book our stay at Inhale@Hill over and over again!

United KingdomThe dogs (although friendly) often barked to each other at night and woke me up a lot (and I’m a deep sleeper!). Also, the property overlooks the beach on the pier side which means the view is slightly interrupted but it was lovely otherwise.
Lovely room, tastefully and carefully fitted. The outside shower was a favorite feature of mine! They clearly took great care over the garden and property to ensure a nice stay.

SwedenThe semi-wild dogs roaming the village in general also entering the Inhale garden. We love dogs, so it was ok for us, but if you don't, Ko Mook might not be the place for you.
We loved staying at Inhale! Such great staff, always going above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. Cocktails to die for at the patio overlooking the bay with fishermen tending to their long tail boats, and the mountains in the distance. Extremely relaxing. Really nice Bungalows with comfy beds and and your own charming outdoor shower Inhale is tucked in between houses of the Ko Mook village, meaning everyday life strolls in the form of chickens and roosters stroll into the grounds adding to the feeling of living in a Thai village but with the amenities of a boutique hotel(you quite quickly accept being woken up at 6 am by the roosters, and fall asleep again) Ko Mook was the gem of our Thailand trip, with the best (and cheapest) food, like Thailand 20 years ago

United KingdomNothing, all perfect.
The location is great. About 8 min walk from the pier along the coast but ask for a pick up if you have luggage as the pier is SO long and the path unsuitable for wheeled bags. The five rooms are beautiful and set around a very well kept garden with sea views. It is very quiet with no road noise although be prepared for sounds of nature such as crowing cockerels and the occasional dog. We were also lucky enough to see a fruit bat ( flying fox?), in the tree next to our room when we stayed. If you want to go to Charlie Beach, a tuk-tuk taxi costs 100 bath and can be organised through reception. There are always taxis there when you want to return. The rooms at Inhale have large decks at the front with deckchairs which is a great place to stare at the sea with a cold beer or two from the fridge, or go to the shady outdoor bar, where Tu the owner will make you a cocktail. The bed was very comfortable and there was a mosquito net. The room was very clean and towels were changed daily. I loved the outside bathroom, which was full of greenery and very private. The shower always had hot water. The aircon was very efficient. Breakfast was included with various choices, both western and Asian. Drinking water was provided for free in the room together with a choice of soft drinks and beer to buy. All of those who worked here seemed lovely but Ann and Tu both speak excellent English and can help you with what you need. Would not hesitate to stay here again if I return to Koh Muk, which I would love to do as it was so much nicer and more relaxing that Koh Lipe in my opinion.

South AfricaI’m just sorry we didn’t stay longer!
Lovely small property on the seafront with just five bungalows. Great location, away from the main town (hired scooters - only a few minutes to get back to the buzz when needed!). Fabulous staff lead by the lovely Ann. Delicious breakfast and only too happy to serve and help with any request or need. Garden frequented by hornbills and a few local domestic animals. Personal and cosy atmosphere.

Ann was amazing. She was so helpful booking trips and taxis and made the best cocktails. Inhale is based in the fishing village which is great as it doesn’t have that naff resort vibe that you find elsewhere. It’s close to the town and restaurants. You can get a taxi anywhere on the island for 100baht so easy to get to the beach. You can also borrow the kayak at inhale to go round the bay
