No opportunity to speak with the proprietor on the morning of departure. I would like to have reported two technical issues which he might or might not have been appreciated. First, in room 3, that of the seven outlets in the socket-outlet extension lead only one was working. It should be replaced. Second, the rapid on-off cycling of the water pump suggested that the integral air bottle was full or nearly full of water. It should drained to be replaced by air. As a retired guesthouse operator, I would always welcome constructive feedback from guests.

Sparkling clean, spacious and nicely furnished. We had two rooms next to each other. Owners and staff were lovely. Good choice for breakfast and they were happy to adapt to vegan. Great location, walking distance to everything Mae Sot offers. We used as a base either side of a trip to the border - they were happy for us to leave luggage and even did our laundry while we were away. Would happily book again.

The position of the air co right on the top of the head but it worked fine.

Gorgeous shady traditional terrace at front for breakfast. Small room, Spotlessly clean with treed terrace, well-equipped with fridge, kettle, hairdryer, desk, had great well-functioning shower and aircon, and adequate Wi-Fi for light work and calls. 3 min walk from superb coffee shops and 7 min from town centre, great restaurants etc. Helpful owners.

Such an excellent establishment deserves better coffee!

Pre-order your breakfast the night before(about 8 choices), freshly cooked for you when you arrive for breakfast. We took the VIP room which was a delight; good sized living room, bedroom and bathroom. Beautifully decorated throughout, clean and everything worked well. Great staff.

Breakfast was good, but not exceptional. They only had coffee powder!

In Booking.com we could only book the VIP room. It turned out that Irawadee Resort has only one VIP room, and that meant two rooms plus bathroom, whereas all the other rooms are single rooms. For us this was very convenient, because we could sit comfortably on the sofas and surf in the internet before going to bed. We also liked the wooden decorations in the room and throughout the hotel. This was special. We stayed two nights.

Not a lot of eating places nearby. But there was enough to get a meal of a night time.

Very nice , cosy , small , family run hotel. Very calm and peaceful hotel, owners and staff very helpful with all my requests, and arranging a car and driver for me. One day when I came back to the hotel, it was raining, and the owner came out to meet me with an umbrella. Comfortable room and a good breakfast.

Location is not near shopping center but if you have car then it is very easy to get around and big parking lot available. Breakfast is great and many varieties to choose from. The room is very authentic Thai Style so if you want to have a northern Thai style living experience, here is the choice.

Quirky but comfortable room, with a small outdoor seating area. Liked the semi open air shower. Excellent breakfast. A few restaurants close by, but some closed at the moment.
