From the greeting at check in from Nadia to Irfan sending us off and everything in between was bliss. We had such a romantic relaxing and beautiful stay. If I could personally thank everyone by name I would. From the chef and the food, the service in rooms, the dining team and spa staff, everyone made our special trip seamless and extra amazing. We stayed in the sand beachfront villas and the room had everyone and beyond! The amenities were 7 star and all requests were accommodated with a smile. I’m a picky guest when resorts claim to be 5 star but the Irene team at Irene beach resort exceeded all expectations and were simply faultless. I highly recommend and will be back! Thank you again! 🙏🏻

Nothing it was so so perfect even the location.

The villa design is incredible. The room was so spacious, had everything you need. The bed was incredibly comfortable and big. The view from the villa every morning and evening was exceptional. This is the best accommodation I’ve ever stayed in and nothing beats the view and service. So so happy with my stay here. Watching the live music from the pool was very memorable.

Very expensive for what it is. Small details don’t make this a £600pn hotel. Yes it’s new and very upmarket for the island, but paying x3 for simple and non value add items such as drinks (eg why is a coke 3x the price of other areas of the island) and similar trips to other islands (again what’s the point of differentiation vs other operators). I also question some of the hotel maintenance - the main pool had green moss on the pool chairs (lack of flow or cleaning), and some of the buildings needed more upkeep. If spending that sort of money everything needs to be perfect not “ok”.

Lovely hotel design, great space and private beach. Plunge pool is excellent and food was really good.

Lack of privacy! Resort can do more to reduced outsiders walking on hotel grounds. Also more can be done to arrnage luxury trips to neighbouring islands.

The room bathroom was outside so it lack air conditioning. Also they should put some lights on the mirror side. It was quite a challange to shave yourself. They promote their spa service actually ofering discounts for couple massage but when we tried to book one couple massage we find out that they had only one masseuse.

They have an App from witch you can order breakfast or dinner in your room. Also you can use app for chating with conciergie about scheduling cleaning hours or transportation around the island. A lot of amenities including a portable speaker, straw hats, beach and room slippers, nespresso cofee machine with capsule stock refilled everyday, private beach bead and umbrella, plenty of drinking water refilled daily.

Food that is not Thai food needs to be seriously improved. Be careful of red ants. Need to improve training of staff. But do go to this place, I think it is one of the best in Thailand.

I checked both type of rooms, best take the room that does not have two floors, it feels a bit nicer and the pool is larger. Great location. Brand new very high end room in top quality with great private small pool on the beach with undisturbed view. Nice pool, great atmosphere. Nice staff. 7 minutes nice drive to walking street. Great beach and warm sea with beautiful colors. It is one of the most beautiful beaches in Thailand. Absolutely book this rooms.

the rooms did not make sense: 1)not all windows have curtains; 2) air condition takes 30mjns to cool down; 3) ceiling light doesn’t have a switch of its own, must turn off master switch, which means everything else turns off too, such as the all imported fan.

We did have quite a few issues with the hotel. The biggest let down for us was the service overall. Everything just seemed very unorganised. We ate lunch at the main restaurant on the first day and the service was so slow that we didn’t bother eating lunch or dinner there again. The breakfast is average. You tick your breakfast options from a sheet of paper when you sit down, but when we received the meal there were numerous things missing. My honest opinion would be waiting until the resident chef arrives in mid February…hopefully he can resolve these food and service issues. The whole ‘reception’ / restaurant area is quite confusing. First of all there isn’t a reception just a waiting area to the side. It’s very unclear who is supposed to be working on ‘reception’, the management team, the restaurant, the bar, shuttle service etc. So it’s a bit confusing when you have a query that you’d like someone to help with. We did also feel it was a bit strange for a luxury hotel to allow their staff to eat breakfast/lunch in the same area that the paying customers were eating. Beware of the mosquitos! I know it’s island living but the rooms are designed to be outside/inside living. There is no door to close off the bathroom. Even if they provided customers with some bug spray would be a nice gesture. There were a few things that we felt should have been a feature of the rooms. There’s no foot wash before entering the rooms, and considering that you enter the bedroom straight from the beach, the room gets very sandy! You have to rinse your feet off in the overflow of the pool before going back into the rooms. We would have also liked fresh beach towels to be provided when the rooms were cleaned. We got to day three and had to ring down to reception to ask for some, which they seemed to forget about as we had to call twice to ask. I understand that cleaning staff might only replenish beach towels if the used ones are put in the wash basket.

The location of this hotel is amazing! It’s on the best section of beach on the island. The staff are lovely and friendly and the rooms are beautiful. They also provide a few extras in the rooms which are a nice touch (portable speaker, beach bag, sun hats and cocktail making equipment). In terms of the rooms, the architecture really is stunning! The gym used in the photos is actually one from their sister hotel (Idyllic Concert Resort) at the other end of the island. Guests can use the gym there at no extra cost and the Irene staff can take you down and pick you back up. The gym is big and well equipped.
