How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

There was a power outage for maintenance during our stay which was a bit frustrating but nothing too drastic
Good location for food and activities such as going to Railey beach as the boats leave about 5mins down the road! The room itself was pleasant for us as we only stayed there for 1 night, but maybe we would have found issues if we stayed for longer!

The room was hot but that’s because we only had the fan. We could have done with one more or of it was above the bed.
The location was fab! Huge room and comfy bed, lovely staff.

No lift, no assist bringing the luggage in the room in 4th floor. No tea or coffee and kettle as well but thats fine for me as i always brought kettle everytime .
The cleanliness of the facility, approachable and helpful staff if needed, we have a great stay.

They didn't have free waterbottles
A nice place to spend a few days...Very close to everything in AoNang ,100 meters to beach and longtailsboats, 30 meters to restaurants. When going to AoNang again I will for shure stay here again

There was a problem with the shower, and water took time to go into the pipes.
The location is good, all is as in the pictures and it has a nice staff.

No parking facility nearby. There is public parking, but small chance that there is one free.
Very central in AoNang. Stayed here before, just for a 1 night stopover

Communication with the staff wasn't always easy. We sent a message the morning of the check-in to know if our room was ready or we could leave the baggage, and they answered our the day after when we were already inside. At the moment of the reservation here on Booking we were asked to choose between two separated beds or one double bed. We chose the double bed but we found the separated beds. Not a big deal, but a little more attention would be appreciated.
The position is amazing, less than 5 minutes walking from the sea. Our room was quite nice and the staff was kind. They offered us the possibility to take a shower after the checkout, but they charged us for it.

The water that came out of the shower was so little you needed very long to shower ...

One evening we had only cold water in the bathroom. There is no electricity in the room when you are not in (electricity works only with a card inside).
Very nice place with great staff, they helped us with extending our accommodation for two more nights and allowed us to book through Booking and we still could stay in the same room. They helped us also to organise a day trip to Phi Phi Islands, the tour was actually great! 👌 Run by a local tour company. Reception also provide all the transport options to different places in Krabi. We highly recommend this place to stay for few nights! Plus value was a very comfortable bed :)

The AC had a very mouldy smell and the room window was towards the inner laundry room (so there were ppl doing laundry)
The location was good and the room was a decent size, prize was reasonable.

No lift. Mattress could be better
Pleasantly surprised by this hotel. We stayed 4 nights, location is perfect, you are next to the restaurants, bars, beach and taxi boats to other local beach. The hotel can help you with all your booking and transfers. Room very clean, and cleaned daily. The room is quite large, mattress could be better but it was fine for us. No lift. Nice view from the rooftop.

Good location and price. All within walking distance if the hill wouldn’t put you off. This property could pass easily as 3* if they add some small bits and permanent reception
