It is always personal preference; but we found the beds a little hard. Everything else was absolutely wonderful.

The location is great! Off the beaten track but within walking distance to bars restaurants and a 7/11. Beautiful beach and lovely rooms. We wanted traditional Thai accommodation, not a bland generic hotel room, and we found it! Tum has created something very special here.

If I have to fault this place which is very difficult, there is only one thing, which is not a complaint more like a nice advise to the owners. Safety box should be fixed to the wall, because it doesn't feel safe just putting your things in a box which could be taken away by someone easily. Area seems safe, but still.

Location is fantastic, sunset is amazing every night. The owners are very friendly and very attentive, helping with anything you need.

We had the greatest stay at Jasmine & Tea House. The bungalows are furnished and decorated with great attention to detail, it felt like home immediately and we didn't miss anything. We loved the location right at the private beach with stunning sunsets and some nice bars & restaurants nearby. Having the awesome breakfast in the morning on the terrace with ocean view was really nice. The hosts are so welcoming, friendly and helpful, it's really special. They had some great recommendations what to do, helped us with every question we had and arranged motorbike, transportation and laundry. Thank you again for everything, we will definetely come back when visiting Koh Samui again :)

If you are lucky enough to score a room here, don't even hesitate before booking. We had such a wonderful experience right next to the beach in modern bungalows, where the owners served us breakfast on the porch every morning. There are only 4 bungalows and a private area ahead of the beach with comfortable sunbeds. They also offer paddle board, kayak, and games to play at the beach all to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Closeby are just enough restaurants to have lunch and dinner, and also you can walk for miles going west on the beach. Thank you for an excellent stay, we will come again!

We are traveling around Thailand for a month and our first stop was beautiful Koh Samui and Jasmine and Tea House. It was a small family run place and very quiet and relaxing. Many thanks to our hosts, Tum and Jo. They were so service-minded and provided great information and helped us book excursions and boat tickets as well as taxis and transfers. The accommodation had a small private part before the beach with sunbeds. You could also borrow a SUP and kayak if you wanted. Nice, clean bungalow with a great view of the sea and a private pool. We had a lovely breakfast every day on our veranda which was served at the time we wanted. This fantastic accommodation is highly recommended! Kob khun ka! 🙏🌴🌸

Great location on a beautiful beach! Good restaurant food options around and a wonderful beach bar next door. The villas are spotless and 15m from the beach area. Tum and her husband are incredible hosts and go out of their way to ensure all is perfect. Tasty breakfasts, scooter hire, taxi organised… it was a fantastic few days and we were very sad to leave. Can highly recommend Jasmine and Tea for a relaxing stay!

This place was the greatest stay we had in Thailand. The owners are incredible, they help us with every activity, every problem. The breakfast was served directly to our taracce and was absolutely perfect. The room was clean and fully equipped. The perfect sandy beach is right in front of the house. We highly recommend this place and it's amazing owners. Kob kung ka for everything.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Jasmine & Tea house. We were welcomed warmly and felt very comfortable during the whole stay. Breakfast on the porch was very nice and good every morning, air-conditioning worked perfectly, the water in the little pool was pleasantly warm due to the ambient temperature, but still a cool down.. Just a 1-minute-walk away from the room, there is also a fantastic beach bar with great food and drinks! Overall an insider tip, we would book again :)

Service is amazing, location perfect and the room had even the private pool. Is a small family business and the owners are the kindest people, always available. There is a private space on the beach, and a paddle board and a kayak are for the guests. The location is quiet, sunsets are magical from here. Nearby there are some restaurants and cafes, instead to go to the fisherman’s village it takes around 20 min by car. Overall it was the best hotel we stayed in ♥️

There was nothing I didn’t like about the property. This may not be the property for you if you are looking for a party, it is more suited for people who are respectful guests. We felt very relaxed and are so sad to be leaving but somehow leave feeling protective of this small piece of paradise.

Its difficult to find words for why we loved it so much. The people and the property itself are special. Room has a private plunge pool. Tum and Joe as you will have read in other reviews go above and beyond to make sure you have all you need for a comfortable stay and they take great pride in both the history and maintenance of the property. Super courteous and kind people. Everything is clean. For example they’ve placed a huge jug of water with a coconut shell by the entrance to your room so you can wash the sand off your feet before you enter your room. They wipe down the front deck for your almost after every rain. Above and beyond. They give you fresh towels every day for beach and shower. The Thai breakfast (if you choose it) is cooked by a local Auntie. What was not apparent to us from other reviews is that Bantai beach is like a little contained area with everything you need in it - so the whole area functions like a little resort. There’s a gym that does yoga and Mai Thai nearby, with healthy food if you are into that, we just preferred relaxing on the deck chairs on the beach outside our villa, there’s a great beach bar 150m away with great cocktails and sunsets. There’s a great team of beach masseuses. You can hire a motorcycle or get rides through your host - we planned to do all of it but did none of it because we just didn’t want to go anywhere. This place is perfect for people who love a quiet relaxing holiday. Very comfortable and quaint. Thank you Tum and Joe! We can’t wait to come back.

First of all I would like to thank the hosts, Tum and Jo, for this unforgettable stay with them! They were both extremely hospitable, helpful and they helped us start the day every day with a wonderful breakfast right at the bungalow. Furthermore, they helped us to organize excursions and gave useful information about when and what was going on. The bungalows are perfectly located on a quiet beach, with unsurpassed cleanliness and come with all amenities such as incredible views, private pool, well-stocked minibar (reasonable prices), bathrobes, slippers, etc... You can use the Kayak or SUP (for free) to paddle in the sunset. There are 3 restaurants and a gym right on the beach and about 5- 8 minutes on foot, towards the main street, there are other local bars, massage studios and small local supermarkets. Another 3min, on the main street, there is a 7/11 with an ATM. If you are looking for peace and want to surround yourself with friendly people, we definitely recommend stopping by here!

Jasmine &Tea House ist Paradise in Paradise. The Setup, the location, the hosts… I don’t know where to begin! I have been to Thailand before, and this was the perfect place. The Bungalows have private pools, beach view, two terraces and a private beach section. The beach is huge, clean and right there! Just all you need for a perfect stay! Breakfast is served on one of your terraces - they even build a breakfast bungalow which is going to be finished this year. We will be back for sure! Thank you for this amazing experience!
