We had a lovely stay at Joy House, the host Amit was so welcoming and friendly. He made us a lovely coffee when we arrived and made us feel right at home. The views are absolutely stunning, we just loved to sit on our balcony and soak up the views. On the plus side, it was the sofest and most comfy bed we have slept on in Thailand so far! In general the island has steep hills and that’s just how the island is. Not a con for this property.

My stay at Koh Phagnan was truly unforgettable, thanks to Amit's exceptional hospitality. From guiding me around the island, a beautiful waterfall and a delightful breakfast spot, his warmth and assistance made all the difference. Amit even went out of his way to offer me a lift when he noticed me walking around and helped me get a taxi back to the ferry. As for the room, it has mesmerizing water views from both the bed and balcony, creating a serene atmosphere. The room is modern, including air conditioning, which ensured a comfortable stay. I appreciated the thoughtful touches in the bathroom, such as complimentary toothbrushes, hair conditioner, shampoo, and shower gel, which added convenience to my experience. Highly recommended for a memorable getaway.

the place was very amazing with a small store in 1 minute distance on foot, also there was a beach and restaurant within 1~2 kilometers which made it easy to go anywhere. on top of that, the host was very friendly and helpful and helped me and my girlfriend have an amazing time in thailand. I would definitely recommend this place for couples, friends, and also families who are trying to travel to koh phangan. Thank you so much and hope i get a chance to visit again :))

Best way to enjoy the Southern strip of Koh Phangan, This place and a scooter. A kilometre away from the Haad Rin Beach, the walking street and the pier as well. The views from the balcony would slow you down and would want you to wake up early & catch a glimpse of the shining blue waters, the speedboats moving ashtray, the birds chirping around and the vehicles on the road downhill muscling past. One of those places where you can enjoy a short stay and fancy a long one. The host is friendly, prompt, well versed, has travelled far & wide, super enterprising and helps you out with sorting your trip around the island. Went out of his way to drop us at the pier when leaving. Top recommendation.

My wife and I had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Joy Houses. Amazing ocean view from our room to the bluest and best beach in Koh Phangan..Haad Rin. Very clean rooms and by far the comfiest bed we’ve slept on in all of Southeast Asia, with cold a/c to go with it. Amit and his family were very welcoming and hospitable. We rented a motorbike directly from them. Would definitely recommend for your next paradise vacation. :)

Everything was great.

From the moment we arrived, the owner made us feel right at home. They have bikes to rent right on the property which is a big advantage. As soon as we arrived, we got ourselves a scooter and went to a place very close by for a beautiful sunset. The place itself is clean and has a balcony with beautiful ocean view. Highly recommended.

New, modern and clean apartment with a very nice view and nice patio to sit on. Soft mattress is a plus as well. Situated in a more remote part of the island so if you're planning on exploring, renting a bike is recommended as taxis are expensive.

I’ve spent 15 nights at joy houses and couldn’t be more thankful! Thank you so much, Amit and Sofia- you’re the perfect hosts!! Property was clean and spacious. Towel / bed sheets change, daily cleaning… everything was perfect. Apartment is also animal safe for those who care - no geckos etc inside during my entire stay. Whenever I needed anything - first aid, kitchen items, Someone to talk to on a bad day- they were always happy to help! Also, staying at joy houses felt like staying at home- thanks to their incredible hospitality (including private dinner invitations) I wish you all the best! Big kiss to baby Oli! I miss you and hope to be back one day. This place is 100% recommended.

Nothing. It’s a steep walk up to the rooms but everywhere in Koh Phangan involves a steep walk!

Really comfortable bed, great bathroom, air conditioning worked perfectly. The view from the terrace is stunning. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Laundry service is also offered onsite. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I loved everything about this place! The hosts little family was beautiful inside and out, their little darling daughter is so friendly and cute. They were so accommodating on everything I needed. The location was far enough from all the noises of the parties but close enough to walk into town every day for me, and an even quicker bike ride. I originally thought it would be too far, but it turns out it was perfect instead! The ocean is quite close if you just want to walk across the street to the private beach nearby. The bed was absolutely perfect to sleep, I got such good rest, normally I'm a horrible sleeper, but it was lights out for me every night! And feeling refreshed every morning! The view is breathtaking since it's up a little hill. Definitely staying here every time I come back to the island from now on.

Everything was great.

The whole stay was great, the room was very spacious with everything that you may need during your stay, super clean. The staff were super friendly and nice. They do also offer laundry services, bike services, and additional snacks and drinks that you can purchase for your stay which are in the room already. The location was good too. Would highly recommend this stay.

Amazing view, nice comfortable room with modern feel, WiFi and hot water worked well, great deck—you basically get your own condo unit on the property. Really enjoyed this stay and would book again. Amit and family are extremely kind and helpful.
