Compared to the other Hotels we stayed in on this trip the drinks and food did cost more

Amazing hotel. The room was huge, clean, spacious. The bed was comfy. Slept great. The grounds are IMMACULATE Lots of pools to choose from, plenty of sun loungers Buffet breakfast was amazing so much choice. Plenty of activities available either for free or for a fee. We did the waterfall trek. The seafood beach bbq was delicious, so much choice All the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming

The water in the pools was too warm.

The breakfast was amazing witha huge choice of food to start the day. Having a selection of different restaurants meant we didn't run out of choices during our stay. The food and service was of a very high standard and the staff were very friendly, helpful and polite.

We love everything about the JW Marriot! The resort layout, facilities, staff, the service, quality of the food from all the restaurants and the beach, the beach has beautiful fine sand and the water is clean and inviting. My wife and I return to this property because in simple terms they make an effort in everything they do!

Food and drinks are expensive

Everything!! Excellent location, just 10 min drive from a great local market with bars and restaurants. Amazing beach, great staff, very clean (rooms are being cleaned twice a day). We took the pool access room, highly recommend.

The hotel was great. Very beautiful and larg. The rooms were lard and welcoming. In one of the days, there was a lizard in our room (tipical to this location), but the stuff came in a few minutes and caught it.

It's huge, so there's a lot of walking from one place to another inside the resort with no AC, in 38-39c...

Breakfast was crazy busy with too many kids. Expensive to eat in hotel restaurants and therefore empty. Also no all inclusive or half board option

Breakfast was nice with great selection but ridiculously busy. We spent second week of our stay at Marriott Merlin beach and found Khoa Lak to be in a different league all round.

We liked everything, but especially the amazing stuff! The hotel head chef was amazing, asking us every day how the food is and how it can be improved - or what is more of our taste... We would recommend - not because of the facilities but because of the people working in marriott taht made our vacation perfect! Thank you.

This is not the fault of the resort, but just a piece of advice to travellers with children. It is advisable to wear full body coverage swimsuit especially for kids, in case it's the season where some jellyfish may come out - it is the open sea after all. A couple of times we felt a bit of a tiny sting that caused momentary discomfort - though we never actually saw a jellyfish - nothing serious, and went away on its own in a few minutes and as I said it happened rarely. However, it would be perfect if the resort could work with the local authorities to perhaps place some netting in the private beach sea area in front of the resort just for the further comfort and protection of the guests.

An absolutely amazing resort. Very well maintained and with wonderful service. The beach is lovely, the sea water is shallow and the temperature is lukewarm. Perfect for kids. The food at the resort is top notch .The breakfast spread is out of this world with choices for pretty much every single type of dietary needs. Highly recommended for families with children, as well as anyone who wants to rest and relax away from Phuket town (which is 1.5 hours away). The nearby Khao Lak town (10 minutes away) was more than enough. We will definitely return.

Prices at the restaurants were ridicusley high!! Not okej! Kids club had a lot ef activities but done to fast and then kods were left to free and to watch TV

An amazing place to stay with the children! Very nice and clean room, lovely well-maintained gardens and the pools surrounding the hotel territory, fantastic breakfast with good variety of meal and yummiest fresh products grown on-site (salads, vegetable, fantastic fruits, eggs and meat!), good choice of fresh juices and smoothies and both European and Thai food in the restaurants! Friendliest and very helpful and polite staff we have ever seen! The beach is very clean, no rubbish on the sand or in the water. All beach activities (kayaks, SUP-boards, serfs and sand toys for the younger kids) are free of charge.

The hotel, its location, and the beach were simply breathtaking! The staff were exceptionally polite, and the breakfast choices were abundant. This place ranks among the most magical I’ve ever visited. Thank you for creating unforgettable memories!
