Stayed in both K-Bunk hostels. Very different vibe but perfect in there own way. This one was a bit quieter, which is what I needed after a long journey, and the K-Bunk closer to the beach is hopping. Staff are all lovely, Joe, Ems, Amy, Steo and the ladies behind bar and front deck. Stayed in a lot of hostels, and the nights out and group events here are up there with the best, led by Joe who's super fun and genuinely a really sound guy. Gonna extend my stay.

A bit further away from the center and the beach (but hostel offers free shuttles to the beach). Matrasses on the beds where a bit harder than I'm used to, but still comfortable

Warm and welcoming vibe with helpful and friendly staff. Pretty much every day they host activities you can sign up for, along with the people from the other K Bunk hostel. It's ideal to meet new people.

The property is about 35-45 minute walk down to the main strip by the beach. The hostel offers free transfers during the day but the last one is at 13:30pm. They should maybe have a couple times in the evening for transfers otherwise you’re paying for tuk tuks but they only cost 100-200 baht so not the end of the world.

Great property and I met some great people here. Staff were amazing and very helpful.

The location was fairly far from the beach but I'm sure they offered free shuttle service everyday .

Seemed like a cool place to stay not too wild but fun with lots of activities on and nice staff . I was ill during my stay so can't comment more but I would stay here again.

One of the best so far. Nice and cheap tours, free night events like bar crawls. The Location is perfect for good food and local shops but they also have free transfers to the beach. Everything is very clean! I had a really good time here! Thank you guys!

The hostel located in a not crowdy place. There are a few not expensive cafes nearby. They provide a free shuttle to the beach 3 times a day. Dorms have AC and funs. Beds are blinded around with curtains. They do nice cocktails at the bar, and there is a happy hour (2 hours actually) every day with a discount for cocktails.

What is not to like about this hostel? I guess this is the first hostel I came across which had tie ups for most of the activities and with a great price. They also have pub crawls which is one best part and the energy is through the roof. You get free bus service to the near by beaches which is a bonus. I would specially like to thank Adrian, Aoom and Zara for being incredibly warm.

I like my week at k-bunk a lot and it was really helpful that Adrian was able to talk German. I had a lot of fun with him and I was able to make a new friend. Cheapest cocktails and good vodka slushy.

The location while central is still a bit far from the main Ao Nang beach area. However, that being said there are plenty of restaurants and bars around the hostel to keep you busy. Plus if you do not want to walk in the heat the hostel does offer free transfers to K-Bunk 2 and Ao-nang beach three times a day.

Great social hostel! Probably one of the best ones I have stayed at during my trip so far. The hostel is very lively and social, great to make friends and go on tours with. The staff was really helpful and kind, and they always tried their best to help me out. They can also help book tours for you at discounted rates and help you collaborate with others in the hostel so you can make some great friends. The hostel also has two cats who come and say hi every now and then but they usually only stay in the front open area so if you are allergic or afraid of them they won't disturb you.
