How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The cats were fighting outside my room which isn’t really anyone’s fault
The owner is absolutely lovely and so helpful, the room was spacious and large & the bed was comfy. A 2 minute walk to the beach and surrounding shops

There’s not a lot of natural light in the room we stayed but it was nice and private
Very easy location in Kata, great owners who contacted me before our stay and helped us with our next journey on our travels. Great bar & cute garden

Shower was directly on the floor so floor was wet long time in bathroom after used it and so much close from the sink... Balcony is shared with others rooms, finally it's just a passage and the view is on neighbours roof.
Good location and quiet. Beach 3min on walk (by the left when you go out of resort), very close to beach road (5min) where you can find restaurants, shops, massage, bar and food market... Bedroom for 3 people was clean and space. Bed was a good quality. I appreciated to get coffee, tea and water every day.

Shower was in the middle of the bathroom and made the floor all wet, not a major problem as long as you're prepared for that.
Good value for money. Quiet at night and easy to get to the center of town.

We spent just a few hours here, we were really appreciative of the staff member waiting for our arrival as our flight was delayed. A lovely young man waited and showed us our room. Great location. Everything is close by including beach, pubs, restaurants...

The shower is basic but it has hot water and the bathroom was large.
The property is in a great location. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. The bungalows are large and they have separate bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen and outdoor area. All the bungalows are secluded and private. Lots of nice restaurants and 5 minute walk to the beach. We travelled with 2 teenagers and they had their own room.

It fills up fast, I wanted to extend my stay, but unfortunately, there were no vacancies!
It was so relaxing. This is a great place to stay if you want to feel like you are among locals, I chose it for the ambiance, not to feel like I was in a pampered resort. The location to everything was perfect and few minutes walk to beach, dining and shopping. We had a cat that adopted us, we loved having coffee with him every morning on our private patio! We will stay here again when we return to Kata beach!!

The shower pressure was a bit low, but it wasn't a big problem.
Amazing staff! Everyone was so kind, and they took very good care of me. The next time I return to Phuket, I will definitely be staying here. Their bar/cafe is a great social atmosphere, and they serve excellent food and drinks.

The shower was not closed. So the whole bathroom will get wet. During the night the neighbours have live music which is really loud (20.00 till 24.00).
Friendly host, location is perfect. Everything is really close.

The location of the hotel is wonderful... very close to the sea, shops, cafes and restaurants. The rooms are chic, very spacious, air conditioning and fan - everything is good... the staff is very responsive, kind... Niki - you are the best!!!!

Shower/toilet room is pretty large and if you took shower - all this room is wet and slippery
I didn’t expect this property to be this good for this money. They provided us with 2 bedroom house with all necessary inside.

Cats fighting at night 🤣
Perfect location. On the main road with lots of shops and restaurant choices. Taxi and Grab drivers struggled to find it though. Just round the corner from the beach. Really good value for money. Friendly cats come and visit

The bathroom could have been cleaner but for the price in kata, it was okay. And the fridge had a bad smell inside so couldn't put any of our food inside. But for one night, not a problem :)

Transactions were not transparent. They even charged 3% extra on my prepaid forex card loaded only with THB, (THB 11680 instead of 11340, as quoted by Booking.com), which is totally unacceptable. When confronted, they threatened to cancel my booking. Their meal charges varied from time to time, person to person. No helping hand to luggage shifting. These factors must be kept in mind while booking. Otherwise they were helpful and gave me one room arranged for me for preponed entry.

The room is pretty old, bed was hard and the cats around look very unhealthy. Also, REALLY IMPORTANT POINT.. there is no reception from 07pm or so.. then you have to wait until 08:00Am if there is any emerfency?? I did not like that AT ALL.
The staff was really helpfull. I had issues with a door and they fixed it straigh away. Aircon works perfect, the location is great, hot water works well.

A lot of mosquitoes (which isn’t the hotel fault) so make sure you bring plenty of mosquito spray!

The transportation from airport to resort was TERRIBLE! waited over 11/2 hours for a ride
