Super friendly staff, the rooms have all you need and the hotel is super close to the beach. The food at the restaurant is some of the best I had in Phuket.

Zero interaction from the staff. They checked us in, and then checked the mini bar when we checked out. That was it. They left some coffee and water outside our room on day 2 and changed the sheets and towels day 3.

The hotel was so so. It was nice having a 2 bedroom apartment for the extra space. AC worked great. Location was okay, at the end of the main strip in Kata and close to the food market. Silent at night time. Didn’t eat in the restaurant attached to the hotel so can’t comment on the food. Wouldn’t rush back here, but it wasn’t terrible and okay value for money if you’re more than 2 people.

The bathroom was not very clean and it was really tiny, the bedsheets smelled of mildew. We did not enjoy Kata in general, it's super touristy and not that interesting compared to other parts of Thailand. The beach is crowded and payed sunbeds are everywhere. Also the restaurant is very pricy for Thailand.

The staff is really kind and the hotel is located near the beach in a quiet side street, we also liked the little terrace in the garden to sit on

Pretty run down room. The concrete wall was falling in an area. Bed was very hard. No real door into the room, just a sliding glass door. Would equate this to a middle level hostel. Bed was hard as concrete.

They changed one of our rooms while we were away and the owner was also being rude when we asked why it was done without our permission. She told us that she'll give our money back and we can go to another hotel.

No WiFi. Or maybe it was there but the receptionist usually wasn't there to guide through things or enable me.to even ask about the WiFi. Other than that, my four year old wet the bed and they did clean it immediately. They said that they weren't gonna charge me for getting the bed cleaned but in the end they did. I don't mind paying for services but if you are saying that you are not gonna charge and then end up charging that is just weird. But no worries about this.

The rooms were very good and clean and the staff was courteous.

Mold in the rooms, we couldn't use the wardrobe because it was an awful smell of mold coming from there. There was no mosquito net to at least keep the windows open, but we got bitten during the night anyway (till we bought something for the mosquitoes). I was very surprised by this problem, as the property has very good ratings on Booking. Given the price, we were expecting something very basic, which is all fine cause we come here for the beach, but having this smell in the room is unhealthy and very unpleasant.

the bed was like sleeping on the floor, was like sleeping on a box spring as if it was missing the mattress part. And the water wouldn’t get hot for showers.

beautiful place, little seating area outside, felt safe, no noise, has a restaurant, has a place to send your laundry for cleaning, 5 min walk to the beach, clean & nice staff! :)

AC is really loud. No hair dryer provided. Had to pay for the SHA plus quarantine package separately, I thought it is included in the price like in other hotels in booking.com

Kata Leaf could be a pleasant place to stay at, if they were focused on hiring and training staff to have good interpersonal skills. To work in customer service, you need to have patience and respect for customers, and unfortunately the staff there were incredibly unprofessional and had an obvious and blatant irritated attitude every time we asked a question. In an instance where we wanted to make use of their scooter hiring services, the lady got so frustrated and rolled her eyes with an extreme bad attitude.. and when I asked her what the problem was and told her that I should be able to ask questions and that should be totally fine with them.. she walked away and refused to assist us, so we had to go get scooter hiring elsewhere. We were completely in shock. An experience like that can completely affect an establishment's reputation, and it definitely has. We will never stay there again, nor will we refer any of our friends there either. Customer service is all about being of service to customers.
