Very nice stay, very friendly and accomodating hosts, super clean room and neat garden. All that for a reasonable price constitutes an unbeatable package. Very good and heartfully recommnded. Am always happy when a place with great reviews turns out to be exactly that - simply great.

The bed was a bit firm, but that’s normal for Thailand.

The property was wonderful, as was our room. The room was big, comfortable, and spotless. The bungalows are spread out across the property so there is a sense of space and green. The beach is a short walk down the hill on a small lane. There is a nice breakfast café just around the corner. Kate House is an excellent value and highly recommended. A scooter or rental car is a must in this area, but Kate House rents scooters at a very reasonable rate.

Eeriely quiet resort. No mosquito spotted, a first in thailand. Friendly, helpful and considerate hosts. Quite fully fitted bungalow, all windows with mosquito screens, outdrawn roofs gives good shadow also on terrace.

The house is accommodated in beautiful gardens in a green area close to the beach. You will need transport to get to the nearest town. There is a 7 11 not too far away. Khun Kate is very accommodating.

This is the most beautyfull place I have ever bien. Great location, beautyfull apartment with all facilities you need. Kitchen BBQ supplies. An amazing garden and walking distance to the beach. The staff is very helpful and the realy nice and friendly. If you like a place where you wake up in the morning with the sound of nature I highly recommend Kate House. Thank you for having us. We will be back

Not much, the beach is not great for swimming but clean enough and I swam.

Location to beach and dining/cafe places in easy walking distance and hardly any traffic. Very quiet, safe and friendly. Great accommodation in well kept area.

Foreign TV coverage, no swimming pool; dark narrow lanes at night even with a car headlight.

Peaceful locations amongst coconut plantations and white cow herds, adequate furnishings with comfortable bed and private windows with fly screens. Not far to walk to the beach downhill or slightly uphill to some very good restaurants. Not far from Town on coming along the 3374 take the next left after the 7-11.

Kate House was everything we had hoped for and more. The individual houses are all different and they and the gardens have been created with love and care. Kate and Eric are lovely people and couldn't do enough for us. We enjoyed coffee and cakes at their on site coffee shop and beer on our terrace while we watched the quiet world go by. Their part of Bangsaphan is a small, peaceful resort with a beach that's miles long. Lek's Cafe, about two minutes walk away, serves delicious lunch and breakfast - Thai or western. After years of the pandemic and our long flight to Thailand (then a train journey), this was the perfect place to unwind.

The road to the property is pretty dark & rough with lotta puddles. The property is a big compound with quite well design buildings and yard, but might need to do something with the tacky decor & mismatched furniture. There’s no electrical outlet in the bathroom or anywhere that we could use a hair dryer or shaver. What we dislike the most is the amount of big ants, lizards, mosquitoes, spiders and other bugs in the room.

Effectively - no WiFi. This was blamed on 'recent rain' - but that doesn't help when you are reliant on access to the internet to plan your journey etc. At the time of our stay, no breakfast was offered other than coffee/toast.

Very clean, and beautiful location. Lovely to hear the tropical sound of the Thai birdlife at dawn.
