Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

ThailandMattress and pillows are not comfortable but it's okay for a short stay. AVOID parking nearby longan tree since numerous ants got into our car and better park the car close to lobby.
Friendly staff, nature vibes, calm area, breakfast (especially, organic ice cream! ), small organic shop on the site (e.g. herbal shampoos, honey), good for family gathering

SingaporeThe bed was hard. The shower area ( master bedroom) was too cramped with no shower curtain, and the shower head was too short for my height. The outside light was too bright for my sons who were sleeping on the upper level. There's was also no air-conditioning. Only fans.
I love the nature of the place which my family have not experience before. Can you imagine that you are staying in the middle of the forest? That's incredible. Breakfast was good with a different menu daily.

Singaporebugs are unavoidable when the stay is in the middle of forest grounds - but it wasn't too bad, just prepare some insect repellent and spray the corners of the bed to prevent bugs from crawling around you at night.
the bungalow was very quiet and private so we were able to relax well. the complementary ginger drink was so nice! the LARGE breakfast spread was amazing!! it was unexpected and we were pleasantly surprised. <3 we were even given free organic icecream as dessert.

ThailandThe car parking area can become quite muddy and slippy when it rains, as it did with us. The reception area looks unloved and as a result doesn't paint a positive image of a well maintained resort.
Quiet natural surroundings away from the hustle and bustle of the main Khao Kho road. We loved walking round the small lake where the cabins are located around. Their sister restaurant is close-by (a very short car ride away), which has a comprehensive menu - their excellent pizzas being wood fired within a traditional clay oven.

ThailandWe did not see the Khaokho view from the propert. the living area furnitures are very old and not comfy. All facilities are closed ( from covid pandemic) bicycles were not available.
The surrounding is nice, feel like staying in the woods. The 2 bedroom cottage we got was perfect size for us. My son got the whole second floor and did his homework at the back patio, super quiet. The property is big and nice for jogging. breakfast was served at the villa, not very fancy but plenty of local organic products.

IndiaWe stayed at cottage #3. The mattress was really hard and made it uncomfortable to sleep and resulted in back and neck pain. The indoor bathroom tub is designed for seating or for children. If you aren't used to Asian ways of bathing (seated) this would be an experience. .The outdoor area which doubles as a work area and cooking area is open and therefore bugs and insects are a pain. Honestly it's no different from when one stays at rustic cottages or cabins. So if you're used to it and comfortable with it then it isn't a problem. We did have to ask for some cookware and an induction stove ( the description for the cottage lists it) as it wasn't provided. Inside the resort there is no data, so you have to rely on wifi which is quite spotty and dropped frequently.
The lush vegetation and the landscape was great. The resort was equidistant to most local attractions. The resort staff were helpful with our luggage and few other requests. The soaps provided are really great, smells and feels good. The housekeeping staff were generous with daily amenities including fresh towels. Normally we would've not liked to change so frequently (water conservation) however, it was damp, cold and raining all the time in Khao Kho, which meant nothing dried. So appreciate the thoughtful gesture. The walkways are well lit with motion activated lights at intervals, just be mindful that it is slippery in rainy weather. We were given complimentary ginger powder which comes from their own farms as well as complimentary access to gelato at their restaurant. While there were interesting flavours we had to opt out due to lactose intolerance.

The staff was very helpful. Check in quite easy and straightforward in the lobby. We were offered to choose between different accommodations without any extra charge. This place is absolutely delightful and secluded in the middle of the jungle. The majority of these properties are dotted around a small pond which adds even more charm to the place. This resort will let you feel living in the nature without any compromise on confort. All windows have mosquito net and we found everything from soap to towels and spare blankets. Everything was clean and properly mantained.

We spent two nights at Khaokho Herbary Organic Farm & Resort. Our arrival was later than expected but they were very flexible and so kind to us. We stayed in house number 1 that looks over the rice fields. The house itself was so clean and it had everything we needed. I think the most outstanding thing aside from the beautiful nature was the breakfast. By far the best breakfast we’ve had at any hotel! It was so much food and so delicious! And both days it was different. They also prepare everything (or most everything?) from their garden/land and we also really loved using their shampoo. There is a shop down the road where you can buy all of their products and we made sure to buy a jar of their ginger honey that they served at breakfast. It was delicious! I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone who enjoys the nature. The people working here are lovely.
