The setting of the resort is beautiful, the bungalows in the midst of gardens, palmtrees, flowers and ponds. The beach is right across the street. If you walk to the left (south) the beach becomes more and more beautiful, with its rocks looking like a Seychelles beach. The main road with restaurants, shops, foreign exchange etc. is only a few minutes walk. The food in the hotel is excellent, so is the spa. The masseuses are very good and professional.

People tend to reserve sun lounges. Not only in the morning but also over the day when they just leave for hours and leave the towels. That was a bit annoying. The bathroom could use a little makeover, eg the joint of the window but nothing major!

The resort is looked after very well with its lush greenery, so beautiful. We got an upgrade from the Deluxe Bungalow to a Suite which was (I guess) just a bit more spacious and more private. The room was clean and very well equipped. The bed was comfortable and you could adjust the strength of the air-con perfectly. Usually, air conditioning in hotels is too strong for me. Each day the room was cleaned. Also, the staff was very friendly and spoke English quite well. The breakfast buffet was very nice in my opinion. Freshly made omelets, fruits, nice coffee and fresh juices. The pool is very clean. If you want to go to the nearest beach you can walk there in a minute. I was sad to leave and would definitely come back again!

A policy to stop people reserving sunbeds as some towels were on the beds and never really used

Lovely hotel in beautiful gardens just a few minutes walk to a fab beach where there were super sunsets. The room was huge and had conditioner as well as shampoo and body wash. The breakfast had such a varied choice and was definitely value for money. The hotel offered 24hr check in so it wasn't an issue that we arrived at 1am. The room was sprayed for mosquitos so we had no issues. There was a night market almost next door which served great value local food and if you want to book a boat trip I would recommend that you use the local travel office just up the hill as you can haggle on the price.

Shame it wasn't directly on the beach but only a two minute walk

Really lovely resort with very personable staff. Set in lovely peaceful gardens with a central pool. Rooms, we're very spacious and lovely to have traditional wooden interior and furnishings. Breakfast had a good choice with great waiting staff and chefs. Would recommend 👌 Thank you for a very pleasant x 5 nights stay

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. All our wishes were taken into account before moving into the apartment. The rooms are spacious, clean, and odorless. The bathroom has both a bathroom and a shower room, which is very convenient with a child. Room cleaning and towel replacement were carried out every day. We also really liked the breakfasts. Very friendly staff, always ready to help with any issues during your stay at this hotel.

No elevator available for 2nd floor. The door to the room didn’t fit with the door frame, hence mosquitoes can easily access into the room. The water pressure inside the bathroom could be stronger.

This was the nicest hotel I stayed in during my trip to Thailand. Very spacious room, clean and cozy. I really liked the "Asian" style of the buildings. The garden is just stunning. The breakfast area simply beautiful. Very close to the beach. Staff very friendly.

Charming hotel in a good location. There are dozens of good restaurants (recommend Nom Family) and all the shops you need in walking distance. There's a taxi station just opposite so it's easy to get around. The beach is across a minor road. You can walk along the beach for three miles or so, up to Bang Niang. The bungalow rooms are suite size, and seemed nicer and better located than the rooms in the two storey buildings.

Personally, I didn't enjoy having the outdoor bath in our bungalow (showers are indoors, some other bungalows have both shower and bath indoors), but it's just a matter of personal preference, not a big deal.

We stayed at the resort in December during a long holiday. Despite the tourist rush, the spacious and well-designed layout of Bhandari meant we had a nice and quiet stay. The bungalow was spacious, with fast WIFI and ample parking at the entrance, just steps away from the beach. While there were a lot of restaurants nearby, we opted to dine in the hotel twice due to the comparable prices, choices, and taste. The staff was very kind, and the Bhandari Spa is a must-try! The knowledgeable therapists provided not only a relaxing experience but also effective wellness treatments. Bhandari spa it the most beneficial spa treatment we've had in Thailand. (and we've been to A LOT). We look forward to making Bhandari our go-to stay during our yearly visits to Phang-nga.
