The furniture in the Bungalow is OK to sit on for a short time but is not made for a big 6 foot person and gets uncomfortable very quickly. Not many English TV channels and no movies for those wet days.

We stayed 2 weeks here. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was always good and there is plenty of choice. The beach is just across the road. Wet season is not a safe time to swim here so be careful. Really happy there is no smoking at the breakfast area and there is a kid free pool area. One day at the adult pool 3 young noisy kids came exploring and the snack bar man moved them on quickly and politely. The poolside food and drinks are the same price as in town and probably even better value. The spicy noodle soup or burgers and sandwiches I had were all really good.

We loved our spacious room and the beautiful surrounds. The Thai massage on site was exceptional and great value. We had one lovely evening meal here and the breakfasts were very good as well. Highly recommended - We’ll be back.

The resort was perfect, but the beach in front of the resort is damaged and has construction equipment. Many shops are closed, so few options of seafront restaurants nearby.

Very beautiful and peaceful resort, with gorgeous gardens and ponds. The staff is friendly and we got an upgrade, which we are grateful for ! The breakfast is tasty and varied, the bar by the pools serves good food. The bungalow was extremely comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bhandari resort. What an amazing place for good family time, thanks again !

I liked everything. Honestly, my stay was perfect. I wouldn't change anything. I will come back again. Congrats to the hotel and team on a wonderful experience.

The service is EXCELLENT! Polite, multi-lingual, professional. The breakfast included eggs benedict (yum!), omelette, multiple pastries (including whole wheat/rye bread), and at least a dozen other items. But the highlight was the hotel itself: lotus ponds, lawns, many places to explore, little gazebos where I could sit and read, an adult swimming pool area that is completely separate from the other swimming pool area, little bridges everywhere, and just across the street from a gorgeous, picturesque beach with a tiny lighthouse. Stay here. You won't regret it!

Nothing I can think of!

We loved the beautiful room with the lovely nature in and around the resort. It was like being in a tropical paradise. The breakfast each day was lovely each day with fresh fruits and my boyfriend had eggs everyday. If you wanted to get into town you'd need a scooter. Taxis are expensive in this part of thailand. The beach was super close to the resort and lovely to go for a walk in the morning. We also really loved the spa! We had 2 massages there and would really really recommend! Thankyou for making our trip unforgettable!

Khao Lak is a bit dead( first week of May) The place feels a little bit untidy after just opened from Covid but I am sure they will keep working on it . The garden of the bungalow where the bath is needs to be more clean .

Very nice Thai style bungalows , with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast is really nice and loads of variety. Spa was amazing and they have lovely peaceful gardens. Close to the beach. staff very helpful even calling to the room to remind you about trips and treatments at the spa . They change linen and towels everyday , very nice . They allowed us to do late check out because our flight was at midnight , and send our postcards . very nice and friendly staff .

Good location a few minutes from the beach and 10 minutes to the main street with restaurants and shops. There is an adult-only area with a quiet pool. Room equipped with everything you need. Excellent breakfast with a large selection.

What can I say except that the place is definitely THE place to go. It changes from the other resorts we use to have on the beach. The Bandhari hotel is very traditional in term of architecture. The staff is more than lovely and always ready to help you and make your stay easy, especially for the Covid admin part. Breakfast is like huge and awesome. Several swimming pools, all gorgeous and big. And rooms are quite simply perfect. Many thanks for everything. You made our stay unforgettable.

I loved everything about Bhandari. The property is so beautiful, the lovely traditional architecture is surrounded by lush gardens and relaxing areas for yoga by lotus ponds or swimming in the pool under coconut palms. You feel so peaceful the moment you arrive. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is exceptional, with everything from fresh tropical fruits, Thai food of the day, waffles, omelettes, danishes and endless cups of coffee. I loved the ambience of the breakfast area overlooking the pool and palm trees as the morning light filtered through the wooden shutters. We stayed in the pool-view room, which has a balcony overlooking the second pool area and boardwalk. Housekeeping did an excellent job refreshing the room each morning. The spa treatment was excellent and you couldn't ask for a more relaxing setting. Nang Thong Beach is great for sunset walks and views of the lighthouse, it's an interesting mix of sandy beach and palms with rocky outcrops and hills in the distance. There are restaurants by the beach or it's only a short walk to the main street where there are many restaurants as well as massage and other shops. There's nothing not to like at all, if you are coming to Khao Lak you will love staying at Bandari Resort.

I would prefer a more "modern" and lighter breakfast.

I'm a returning customer - I love the adult wing. Very relaxing and quite. Staff is lovely and the food is alright.
