Everything was superb. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. Food was delicious! The resort is right at the beautiful Khlongdao beach which is a plus in the proximity of shops. There is also a mini mart, pharmacy and massage place at the resort. Rooms are clean, spacious, not luxurious but very pleasant. Thank you for helping us make our moments unforgettable.

Beds were a little hard but not bad, we will certainly be returning if we have the privilege of visiting koh lanta again

The staff here is so incredible. Mo and Eck (likely misspelling their names!) were so helpful and kind, along with all the other staff who's names we did not get. Beautiful beachfront property, delicious food, they will set up any tours, rentals, etc that you may need. Mini Mart and pharmacy directly on either side of hotel, 5 minute walk to 7/11.

None of these really effected our stay but this place has a lot of potential, so some tips for management: - Furniture and walls in the room were very dated, could do with a refurb. - The place has a massive plot with loads of empty space, should consider getting a pool since there are always jellyfish in the sea there. Adding sunbeds would also add a lot of value. - Unfortunately a couple of the live bands at night were very bad, guitars out of tune and bad singers. It was entertaining but not in the right way. - The tables could use little lanterns on them or candles at night particularly ones that keep flies/mosquitos away, as the other beach bars had these so would attract more people to sit down when they walk past.

This was one of our favourites stays of the trip! The staff were very friendly, particularly Aek who sorted everything for us from transfers and day trips, he was very helpful and attentive. The sunsets on this beach are incredible, best view of all beaches on Koh Lanta. They do a decently priced beach bbq every night and the food was delicious!

We had a great time at Klongdao Sunset Villa! The owners and their staff were very friendly and helpful. The room is being cleaned daily, and everything overall is clean. You got all you need here: a restaurant, tourist information, mini market, pharmacy and a lovely massage place! If you like to relax and unwind from the sometimes busier places of Thailand this is your place to be. You are right on the beach!

Outside each unit there were tables for smoking and sometimes the smoke smell drifts into the bedrooms

It was not a big problem, but the water was mostly cold in our shower. We didn't ask the staff to fix it in the end, because it was pretty hot weather and cold shower was bearable. I'm sure they would fix it right away had we asked.

Great location, right on the beach and not far from shops like 7/11, convenient but still quite. there's a massage shop next door which gives great message, and a pharmacy and mini supermarket. The villa has a restaurant facing the beach, which had bbq, live music or fire show in the evenings during our stay. The staff were all wonderful, very attentive, helpful and open-hearted. It was the first time my parents travelled abroad and stayed on a beach. They felt very comfortable here. Although some comments mentioned basic furnishing, I actually quite like its classic wooden furniture and find them useful and home-y.

Ek and his team of staff are the most charming, helpful, and friendly group of people you will meet in Ko Lanta. The staff here were so friendly and inviting every time we interacted. Ek also arranged my ferry service to the next destination on my trip. The room was great, clean, and had ice cold air conditioning. Your walk to the beach is less than one minute, regardless of what room you choose. The beach is very clean and quiet. Ideal for families and those seeking a relaxing day at the beach. Note that there is not much shade to be had on this beach. But it's sunsets are amazing. The restaurant is located directly on the beach and has a good cocktail hour and fire shows on the beach. It's very nice. Everything you need is located incredibly close. The closest ATM is at the top of the street. About a 3 minute walk away. There is also a travel and tourism service at the main desk where you can book day tours and excursions. There is also a pharmacy and a mini mart on either sides of the hotel which is a bonus. There is also a family friendly and very reasonably priced massage studio. Overall I would 11/10 stars if I could. I have nothing but great things to say about my stay and Ek and his team!

There are a lot of mosquitos and no mosquito nets in the room. Small thing to improve to make they stay more pleasant. Our pillows were mouldy, we asked to have them changed.

It is a family run place, and the staff was very nice. Right at the beach with reasonable lunch menu prices.Rooms are nice, basic. I recommend it also for families, they were super nice to my daughter.

- The restaurant was a bit pricey and not as great as the accommodation, it would have made a great combination. But it's ok, and there are alternatives.

These are just niggles and I'd stay here again. To note: Unfortunately most guests smoked cigs or weed and it infiltrated into my room. Walls are ok but not as soundproof as needed, still heard people arguing and shagging. The bathroom bins need a good scrub out and while cocktails are cheap, suggest doing a mixollogy course as they were often too strong and not easy to drink.

Excellent location and staff very friendly, always ready with a smile, happy to get me a coconut or refresh my room, nothing too much trouble. Tik organised a couple of tours for me and the massage centre, pharmacy and mini mart were within a 10m walk of the hotel so very convenient. The So Good restaurant had a good menu and I ate there most nights as well. It's right on the beach and sunsets with a cocktail are amazing. Also good for a long beach walk and a short walk to the main street for 7/11, cafes and the gym. There was a fire show 3 nights of the week which is mesmerising. I'd definitely stay again and hire a car next time for a few days. Great for a solo female and there was an internal lock on the door.
