There is not a big area where you can hang with other travellers, just a table with a couple of chairs.

The staff was so kind and helpful, the private room was very cozy and the breakfast was very good (9 different sets to choose from at restaurant in front of the hostel).

This hostel is the perfect place to stay just a 2 min walk from the main street and 2 min walk to the beach. The island is very quiet so it was nice to meet other solo travellers there. Everything was very clean, there was free tea coffee and water, the owner was super friendly and helpful

The beds, like all in Thailand are hard, but otherwise, everything was excellent.

The koh mook hostel was perfect, the AC worked well, the room was clean, the showers and the bathrooms were cleaned daily. Fresh water to fill your water bottles and the breakfast was a bonus! The owner was great, the lady who cleaned the hostel kept the bathrooms and showers spotless. I would go back for sure! Thanks for the great week, I needed the break! 👍

A bit of noise early in the morning because of the location on the main street.

The breakfast was amazing, plenty of options to choose and was in front of the hostel. The owner was helpful and nice. The shared bathrooms were cleaned many times a day, I always found them clean. The location was great, in the main street close to the beach and restaurants.

Because we came just after monsoon, and the island has a lot of humidity, the dorm room felt a bit closed and humid. But, almost all rooms on the island are like this, because of the weather conditions.

The staff at the hostel and restaurant are so kind and helpful. The breakfast is very yummy.

The host and his family! Adorable people. I didn’t want to leave! They were always ready to help. The breakfast is very good so are the coffee and the cakes at the place in front of the hostel! But the people, this family made a difference to me! It was my second time and I will come can for sure! Thank you!

Excellent hostel on a beautiful island. Staff/family are really friendly and helpful. Complimentary breakfast in the cafe across the road is delicious. (Worth paying more for a cafe latte - very good coffee). The room is big and aircon is good. Very clean throughout, good showers/toilets/clothes washing & drying facilities. Perfect location and very safe (the whole island is safe). I was really happy that the dorm was female only and that it's a no alcohol zone and people need to be quiet at night. I slept very well here. One of the best hostels I've stayed at.

Hostel was very clean and beds comfortable. The breakfast was amazing and huge plus! Location is on the main road, so everything is close. Little bit of walking to the best beach of the island but that was fine. Overall had a great stay at Koh Mook hostel!

5 min walk from boat, great location close to everything, super clean, comfortable bed and pillow, have light , electrical outlet in each bed and privacy curtains, good value for money, graciously gave me a spare pillow upon request, free tasty breakfast, coffee, water, cookies, and fruit in season. Delicious restaurant directly across street.

It’s on the main street so might be a bit noisy from scooters, but it’s a car free island. Not a very big or designated common area so not a lot of socializing.

The owner is super nice ! On last minute I asked to cancel a night because I had to leave Mookmook earlier and he was absolutely ok with that - the hostel is clean, AC dorm is comfy, curtains on the bed, free and fresh breakfast, friendly people. The only hostel of the island and a good one, I recommend 😊
