A nice short stay on a quiet island.

Unfortunately the fan room is like a sauna! We would not stay in it again as it was very uncomfortable the heat. Also the beds are quite hard and the WiFi isn’t the strongest.

Nice location, can hire scooters through the accommodation too (scooter is needed to explore). Good sized room and in a quiet area. The main man is very helpful with check in/out and if we needed anything. Free water, tea and coffee

Quite a lot of very small bugs and insects inside the house. None in the bed though. A small desk would have been nice to have in the room.

Great and helpful manager. Houses where very clean and equipped with shower, toilet, AC, and bug net over the bed (if wanted). Hotel offered both bicycle (only one though if I am not misstaken) and motorcycle rental.

The room got very hot especially in the midday sun- which made it rather unbearable to be in if trying to escape the sun. Refillable water would have been a preferred option rather than new bottles every day although this seems to be an issue across hotels in Thailand. Otherwise couldn’t fault it and were very satisfied with our stay!

Large spacious room. New water given everyday. Clean. Fridge in room. Porch area outside room with seating (mosquito spray needed!). Could hire motorbikes from reception. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very happy!

    There were ants.

It's a really good location and there are a few motorbike hire places nearby. The rooms themselves are pretty basic although there are ants. The island is more expensive than the main land and full of resorts, so for a cheaper option Candyhouse is quite good. There's a restaurant and a resort with a bar nearby to get food.

It’s not luxurious but more than enough for a few nights stay.

Nice stuff and good value for money! We’ve been to the bungalows and would def recommend. You need a motorcycle to get around the island - can rent from the accommodation, def recommend! We had some issues with our room but got offered help immediately and got moved really quickly.

Beds are very hard so if you are looking for a soft bed this might not be the place for you

A beatiful location if not a bit remote. A scooter rental was possible with no issues, which made it very easy to explore the island. Great value for money and a great stay overall

Unless you hire a motorbike, you're really limited to mostly disappointing, overpriced eating options nearby with one notable exception: the Bear Bar at Sea Breeze, just across the road. Another issue, is that the nearest beach isn't easily accessible. Again, a bike gives you access to better beaches around the island.

There's a lot to like about Candy House: large room; comfortable bed; very clean; kettle; fridge; two fans; good WiFi; and private outside seating area. All round, it was good value for money. We originally booked for two nights, and then extended for two more.

Location is difficult if you dont drive a scooter, the beach nearby is not swimmable. Laundry (50thb/kg) came back dirty (stains in clothes that werent there before washing) and smelling weird. Also if you ask a staff member to take you to the nearest pier, it will cost 200thb if you dont negotiate something cheaper in advance.

Spacious room and comfy bed. Amenities working and in good condition.

Pleasant stay, but bungalow needed maintenance

It would have been nice to have a bed side table, so we wouldn't have to put phones etc on the floor. Our sink was also slightly coming off the wall, which wouldn't have been too bad but the pipes underneath leaked everytime you turned the tap on. The green bungalow needs some maintenance.

The bungalow itself is cool, you have your own porch, and the colours are a nice touch. The rooms are basic but have AC and a fridge which was good.

I would not recommend staying here. The staff are extremely rude and they have a rat problem. Droppings over several rooms

Just note that this place doesn't actually have a view, we thought we were going to be sitting on the balcony watching the sunset over the horizon but you have to walk down the the beach front restaurant. (cant really swim there). This shouldn't deter you from staying though, the incredible view was literally a minute away. There also where a few ants in the bed a few days, they enjoyed their stay as much as we did.

Great! It was so tranquil. You will absolutely need a bike to get around if staying here, you can rent one from reception and park it out front of your little hut. A lot of beautiful nature sounds. We were supplied with a fridge and a kettle as well as some coffee sachets for our stay. There is a little corner shop about a 3 minute walk away for any snacks. The bed was comfortable and the shower had good pressure. It ticked all our boxes.

Ants, ants and more ants. Under the door comes de mosquitos and other insects. The bungalow smells bad due to the bathroom. The refrigerator makes horrible noise all night. There is nothing to hangout shirts. Bed is terrible hart. The staff is friendly but really difficult to understand as they almost don't speak English. Location, it is at a busy road, there is a beach close but the water is quite dirty.

Free water and coffee daily and there is wifi in the bungalows

    Nothing! We loved it!

Candy House is just a few steps from the beach in a nice garden setting. We stayed in a room without AC and it was very comfortable with the two fans provided. The room was also very clean with a fridge, kettle, cups, mugs and spoons provided. The host was exceptional. He brought us extra coffee, water and towels during our stay which was lovely. We also rented a scooter from here (two options: new scooter 300THB/day or “small” scooter for 250THB/day) which was convenient! On our check out day, he even drove us to our next accommodation a few minutes down the road (we didn’t even ask for it), a true legend! We highly recommend staying here!

It's quiet, and restful. You have a whole hut to yourself so no shared walls. The WiFi was great, I was able to work and do video calls. There is a decent size veranda at the front and a small one at the back with a rack for drying clothes. There is a small table and chairs and I moved the table inside to work in the afternoons and back outside in the daytime. The Aircon was great and even after turning it off the room stayed cool for a while. I hired a scooter from the owner to explore the Island but there are also 2 nice restaurants, a shop and a coffee place less than 3 mins walk away, so no need to use the scooter for everything.
