The bungalows were surrounded by a beautiful garden with so many butterflies. Inside, the room and bathroom felt spacious and were very comfortable. The hosts were so incredibly friendly and funny. Restaurant had great cheap food too. Plus it was a 5 minute walk from the main beach (Charlie beach). Overall it was amazing and I would thoroughly recommend it, and it is a bargain!

we loved everything. kookai and her husband are the perfect hosts and go out of their way to help and always have a smile. it’s in a great location, so close to the best beach and a short tuk tuk from the main area. yes it’s basic, but had everything we needed

So much to say! We LOVED this place so much, we even came back already! Kookai, her husband (city boy) and her staff (I never got their names I’m sorry!) are so so so good. Believe all the reviews for this place and book it. The price is low, the huts are great and comfy, the atmosphere and location is awesome, and the restaurant is SO SO GOOD. I can’t say enough good things about it here, we will be back! (So sad I forgot to take a photo!)

The owners are really friendly and helpful. They arranged a long tail boat to take us to our next destination on Ko Ngai and dropped us at the beach to meet the boat. This was the second time we have stayed here and we love the peaceful jungle feel of the bungalows. The steps down to the bathroom are a little steep but the bed is comfortable and we slept great with the fan. Quieter than most air conditioning units.

Nothing, absolutely nothing! I get really upset when I see people putting ”low water pressure” and ”no hot water” in the comments. Shame on you!! What do you expect?? It’s not the Hilton, it’s a bungalow in the jungle on a paradise island in Thailand. You should go and travel somewhere else!!

The location, the green, lush surroundings, the bungalow itself and lovely, sweet Kookai and the rest of the staff. The breakfast was excellent and also the other food. Absolutely wonderful stay.

In the morning and evening there was like half an hour where you realise you're surrounded by jungle, when it's mosquito time. Apart from that,you will not notice them much throughout the day.

Very peaceful location, very privat and yet close to the best places on the island. The staff is really lovely. On arrival I just asked for info how to get to the accommodation and they organised the full pickup service from the train station in Trang for a really good price. Later they even borrowed us diving masks for free.

Bed rather softer/bouncy than we are used to. They did give us option to change after 1st night but we decided to stay put, rather than move all our stuff.

Nice bungalow overlooking beautiful garden. Well-designed bathroom, 24hr electricity. Clean. Mosquito net over bed. Great value, included several breakfast options. Fantastic location, short walk to lovely beach with snorkelling, food/drink stalls, beach chairs. Kind host and very helppful re our complicated onward travel arrangements. Arranged taxis for us. Let me store medicine in their fridge. Friendly tranquil vibe.

We were double booked and stayed at a next door hotel one night. No problems at all, it worked out seamlessly, but we would’ve really liked to stay two nights as intended, as we enjoyed the night we got so much!

We really liked the bed! Soft and very comfortable bed linen! Fan was definetly enough to keep the room cool in january. Good bathroom in the bungalow and nice terrace! Wifi was good for work meeting in the main area, didn’t try in the bungalow, although wifi reached there as well. A few selections for breakfast that you were able to order. Tasted very good! No buffe. Everything you order from the kitchen was made as you ordered it, I think, so alway fresh and homemade! Last but not least! Very kind and considerate staff!

The staff was great, very nice and helpful. We didn't want to stay in the touristy area so the location was great (a few minutes walk to Charly beach). The walk to the center is not that long and you can always rent a scooter. There's a good restaurant on site and a few more in the area.

Booking.com made a mistake on number of guests but the owner was able to accommodate us which was really kind. She has an amazing personality, great sense of humour and was super helpful in advising on things to do and organising transfers. Food including breakfast was great, location is amazing - short walk to Charlee Beach where you can rent Kayaaks to see Emerald Cave or get a taxi tuktuk into town. Bungalow was really clean and comfortable with a lovely balcony. We had an amazing stay, I just wish it had been for longer. Thank you so much! :)

The furniture of the bungalow is very basic and the sheet metal roof makes the room incredibly hot during the day (even if a fan is available).

Bamboo Hut is located 5 minutes from the beautiful Charlie Beach. Kookai is a very helpful and kind host, offered to send a tuk tuk to take us at the pier for free, organised our transfer to the airport and organised for us a wonderful day on a private longtail boat for a competitive price. Breakfast can be included in the booking price and we recommend It.

A very nice place near Charlie Beach. Very helpful staff - they fixed every thing for us. Beautiful garden with hundreds of butterflies. We even saw two monitor lizards.

Great little place with lovely owners who were very helpful booking tours and ferry tickets. Loved my little bungalow in the rubber tree plantation and surrounding jungle. 5 min walk to Charlie's beach.
