The Hotel provides no map for when you first arrive so navigating where things are takes a little time. The doorman and porters seem to have "favourite" people that they are happy to drive around in the golf buggy's, unfortunately that was not our family. On a day of torrential rain we asked if they could drive us up the road a bit and were told "No we don't do that" The next day we see that staff member driving a person up the street in a golf Buggy. We have travelled to Khao Lak many times and stayed at many hotels the doorman and porters seemed less engaging than most, and when compared to how well the rest of the staff treat you it really stands out. They should take some tips off the security guards who were friendly, helpful and went out of way to engage with us.

When we got there everyone was so so welcoming and nice. M at the front desk helped us out. We booked the deluxe seaside twin room with a view. We went to the room, but sitting on the balcony it was just a wall in the view- could not see the ocean at all. We walked down to the lobby to see if a room was available to have an actual view- since we paid so much money to stay with an ocean front. M showed us the same room set up just with a better view of the ocean and the pool. We were so much happier and they were so accommodating. Breakfast was good with so many options, the pools were beautiful and everyone was so nice. I didn’t want to leave, would stay here again. In walking distance there are a bunch of bars, restaurants and shops, it’s in a great area. Since it was low season could not go to any of the islands since they were not open.

There were birds walking all over the tables and food in the breakfast restaurant which made it look unhygienic. Also, not all staff were friendly and polite, in fact most weren’t. Much room for improvement for a luxury resort

Rooms spacious and well maintained. Staff helpful. Beautiful beachfront location in walking distance to restaurants and bars. Good breakfast selection. Restaurant offers traditional and international menu, at reasonable price. Multiple pools to choose from two with swim up bars.

The staff from the hotel was extremly friendly and attentive. Specially Jane, the barkeeper at the pool bar was great in his job. And breakfast with the feet in the sand was the perfect start for every new day.

The restaurant is below average. Every other activity on the kids club is charged and the prices are super high. Not enough common places to stay when raining.

The staff were great. Good interconnecting rooms for families and a golf cart to take you around since these rooms are far away.

- bad service mindset, my keycard didn't work and I had to go to the reception 7 times (!!!!) in 2 days for them go get it fixed with a simple door battery change omg. (fyi my room was on the 3rd floor without elevator) A good hotel would at least try to turn around an unhappy customer and offer a new room or whatever, but all I got was a sorry and my time wasted. - internet also didn't work in the beginning - staff members seem new and not well trained yet - food at the restaurant is expensive and portions really really small

the staff were reactive rather than proactive We left some empty glasses at the pool bar, on the afternoon that we arrived, in the back area near to our room, and they remained there until we left. The staff at reception, by mistake, put through two debits for the cost of the room. Sadly one of those payments remained pending on my wife's account for 11 days meaning she couldn't use that money ,Tried to query it with the hotel whilst we were staying there and they said that they would sort it out, however I had to chase them again on my return to the UK

- A bit expensive - Pool very shallow, not very big, more like a sit in the water and enjoy your drink in the pool situation - Overpriced food, no good quality for money and cold buffet for most of the breakfast choices. Preferably go to one of the small restaurants nearby for dinner or lunch. - had a problem with the shower as water came out and caused small floods in the bathroom he whole time

- Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. - The trips offered were really nice. - Nice beach right beside the hotel. - Amazing sunsets. - Friendly and helpful staff
