The rooms were not cleaned during our stay and there was no smaller towels. It was vey hot in the room since we didn’t want AC turned on while sleeping, it is directed to the bed.

Amazing location, cute bungalows right on the beach. Good food in the restaurant, from vreakfast to dinner.

The room cleaning was every alternate day, as we were a family with 2 young kids every day cleaning would have been great. Also the shower was below average no real flow or water force, this area should be worked upon.

The staff were very helpful each and everyone of them.The food prepared at in house restaurant was also tasty and overall a very chilled vibe.

The rooms are cute cottages with balconies (I felt like I was in the area where the staff live in Dirty Dancing :)). Spacious enough for our family of 4. There are shelves built-in along one wall giving you loads of space to put your cases and things. The rooms were lovely and clean. The owner Ron was very present and very helpful with anything we needed. He arranged scooters to be delivered to the hotel for us and adviced on some locations we were interested in. The hotel does offer a laundry service also which is very affordable. The restaurant and bar are very cool and right on the beach front. There is also a massage service overlooking the ocean which is amazing! The location was great as you could visit loads of other bars / restaurants all along the beach from the property.

The pool could be cleaner. The steal/gate in the pool to separate it, is burning hot, that could be smartere.

The staff was superb. The vibe is chilled, perfect for everyone. The restaurant serve great food and there is nice view and wind from the ocean.

We spent a short week in Lanta Emerald in March 2024. We were there with two kids and rented a family room. The hotel was extremely good value for money, right on the beach, including a resto, a bar, massage place on-spot and a pool mainly for the kids. The owner, Ron, helped us a lot two organise our programmes (including the visit of the mangrove forest, snorkeling, Muay Thai match) and all went super smooth every time the transfer fetching us at the hotel and dropping us there. The staff was always very helpful, and the food was delicious. So we were very sad to leave. Very much recommended for everyone looking for more relaxed holidays in Thailand avoiding the crowd in Phuket or in Ao Nang.

I was in a room with fan only (by choice) because I’m usually ok without AC (and it was a cheaper price.) However the weather was VERY hot, so I wish I had chosen an AC room.

It was very quiet and peaceful. The staff were friendly, kind, and helpful. The food was really good … I ate all my meals at their restaurant.

The thing to improve is to have daily cleaning - we had cleaning in once in two days. Mainly because of the trash. Beach towels would be nice to have.

I have to honestly say that after our trip through Thailand this was the best place to stay. This was not so perfect as other places are but definitely had the best "vibe"... And I would definitely come back here. The restaurant and bar were excellent - we had many meals somewhere else but this one we said was the best in terms of quality, taste and price. The rooms were quite simple but at the end nothing was missing there.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Emerald. Initially came for 3 nights and ended up staying 9. Amazing location, great food, nice beach and a family that knows how to make their guests feel welcome. Ron, the manager, gives honest advice about tours and supports organising them. Highly recommend this place, especially for families with (smaller) kids.

Location. Resort is right on the Long beach with lots of nice restaurants and bars. Big room and beds was ok to stay with a kid.

The garden was not kept, huge burned lawn and debris from trees lying everywhere. Admittedly this is dry season and not much water to maintain a garden but then trees and scrubs instead wld improve the overall impression which now looked messy and not very nice.

If travelling on a budget this is a good option. Friendly staff, huge menu at the restaurant, right at the beach, clean pool. Stayed in a fan room which was upstairs and gave me privacy instead of the bungalows where people pass all the time.

The owner Rob &Ba great persons really helping and looking after his guest all of them , to us was particularly kind as he did help when our son was feeling sick ..in one day back on his feet !! And really listen to his advice ( I didn’t …and I rent a tuk tuk .. and really I should listen to him😊 …food is excellent!!! We try one other place but back straight to his cousine and super nice is the 420free bar great staff too and top selection of music that make really relaxing and pleasant
