This property is really nice. We stayed in family bungalow and it was very clean and spacious. Equipped with kettle, fridge and drinking water. Area is calm and very relaxing. One of the biggest advantages of this property is its great staff! Nice, friendly and very helpful. We felt really welcome. This place is located close to many shops and restaurants. Big thanks to Ron, for being so helpful and welcoming. I honestly recommend this place.

Nothing, it was all perfect – exceeded our expectations.

We had the most wonderful week at Lanta Emerald. This place is run by such a loving family who made our stay super comfortable and memorable. The rooms are nice with a little terrace in front. The place itself feels very spacious and we liked to have the combination between a dip in the sea / pool. Massages that are offered there are one of the best. The restaurant & bar is really nice to just chill, enjoy the view and have some amazing food. The menu had so many options and everytime we were surprised how good it all tasted. We've eaten there nearly the whole week — we really didn't need to leave the place. Location is good, nice beach and other bars & restaurants all in walking distance. Rent a scooter to explore more of the beautiful island. We're definitely coming back to Koh Lanta and will stay at this place!

They could have made the reception and restaurant area more cosy. now it is very functional and no warmth with nice lights or colours like neighbours.

Location is great. You are in middle of all kinds of bars and restaurants, but not next to the “party” locations… those are a few places further down… ATM around the corner just as small shops for basics. We didn’t have breakfast included but along the beach are so many nice places to go! Bungalow we stayed in 10) was good. spacious and clean. shower was blocked but when we told manager they repaired it right away. Beach is compared to other beaches not the softest sand (quite some coral) but you can swim very well at low tide in front of this resort and the bars and restaurants have a very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Mixed backpackers and families… The resort itself maybe not the cosiest reception area but bungalow was good and the location on the beach great!

We had the best time with Ron&his family and would recommend the resort - that is why we prolonged our stay twice. Perfect location, delicious food, nicest stuff, good massage, nice pool, just the beds have been eather extrem hard or soft. We could relax&enjoy Kho Lante so much also because Ron ist really helpfull with organizing, not jut transfer - we did a snorkeling Trip, Cooking Class...he is always around to help you with everything :)

We loved it! The staff are so helpful, they organised scooter rental and ferry transfers for us. The location is fantastic (right on the beach), it has a nice restaurant and surrounded by lots of other fun bars. There were stunning sunset views every evening, and the bungalows are comfortable and clean.

The hotel does not look like the photos ; it is run down and there seems to be little effort being made to maintain it. We had several bulbs that didn't work in our room, the pool wasn't clean. If you are taller than 1m75 you will hit your head when entering the bathroom. The rooms are only cleaned every other day. Not much is missing to improve the experience. A bit unfortunate.

The location on the beach is great. The beach is nice and clean, the water is deep enough even at low tide. There are lots of bars on the beach and also some nightlife. As there is no night bar very close to the hotel, we were not annoyed by loud music

The beds and pillows are very hard. There’s a beach bar close by (Mushroom bar) that plays loud music until 4 AM on some nights. The pool could be cleaner.

Cute cottages with great view of the beach. Nice and peaceful surroundings. The owner was very kind and helpful, as were the other staff. Fairly close to restaurants, shops and spas.

Nothing , Ron was the perfect owner /Host ,and if anything needing attention ,was sorted if you asked him . To see other negative comments was unfair ,in our opinion,as this is a small family ran establishment ,which has struggled post pandemic ,so are not in a position to be outlaying for upgrades at present If you want plush 5 star accommodation,pay more and go elsewhere.....it’s only £40 circa for a room with all the above facilities ,in an idyllic setting

Nice place, great value, nice pool though some umbrellas would be good. Rooms are basic but perfectly adequate. Great bar immediately next door and delicious food to be had at the accommodation itself. Some people state that the sea is too rocky, it is at certain points but where this accommodation there is a good break in the rocks so you can walk right into the sea. I think its generally an all round great place and good value. You could spend more elsewhere but I don't think you'd get more for it. Keep the rooms and the grounds clean and tidy and people will keep booking as it really is nice.

As my portuguise friend said it: the sun was too sunny, the sand too sandy and the air too airy. It was all great. Ron was the perfect host, the food was top notch and Bao a killer at the late night bbq.

There were too little sunbeds at the pool and absolutely no possibility for shade during the mid-day sun. So you can't really be there. One very important detail to the budget rooms is missing in the description!!! - THERE'S NO HOT WATER IN THE BUDGET ROOMS! We didn't know and booked it and were quite unhappy. We did upgrade to another room, which was fine for us, but all in all was it the most expensive hotel during our whole trip. We got cheaper hotels with way more luxury. I just think this would be a very important information on the website, because for like me and my partner that's a deal breaker! The staff was nice and it was definitely not the first time that somebody complained about it, you could see that. But it is misleading.

The staff was extremely friendly and trying to help us. The pool was clean and the location nice. We were able to rent a scooter right at the hotel, which was nice.

You get what your paying for. But the pillows where a bit to hard and the “furniture”/sundbeds by the pool needs to be updated.

Great location, staff and clean. The restaurant made really good food anything from Thai to Pasta. Environment in the restaurant and the pool was great for my 1.5y daughter who loved it. The bar connected to the complex had really friendly staff and great piña coladas. We will definitely go back and visit the great people and this amazing beach in Koh Lanta!

Fantastic beachfront place to stay at a very good price. Great basic bungalows located close to decent size pool, nice restaurant and beautiful beach. The restaurant has amazing food - great portions and reasonable price. the bar is good too with trainable cushions, pool table and beachfront decking. Ron and his team are brilliant - helped us out in every way (even let us use his motorbike for free when our little one was I’ll). He’s very knowledgeable and will sort out all travel and excursions. Some reviews mention the rocky beach but that is only noticeable at low tide and no problem at all. the mushroom bar wasn’t an issue at al either! In fact, there were plenty of nice beachfront bars and a good number of other restaurants on the roadside. There’s a nice little local shop for most things and 2 7/11s in either direction about 10 mins walk

The bathrooms are wet rooms without a shower screen so it’s difficult to keep toiletries dry. Shower in the second room was very low pressure. Rooms are dated but adequate for the price point If you are booking the seafront rooms just be mindful they are the rooms closest the beach but do not actually face/open onto the beach. Even if you stayed in the room furthest from the beach it’s only a minute walk so no problem The wifi drops out literally every 10 mins making streaming or video calls impossible

Its a bit tired after pandemy. Also a bit too much ants in the room and balcony.

Next time we would probably book a bungalow further from the beach as it is sometimes a bit noisy due to the waves, but also romantic so it rather depends on the personal preference.

Beautiful bungalow complex very close to the beach with a lovely terrace. We have really enjoyed the chilled and local atmosphere and always present care of the owner Ron. He was always super helpful at providing various recommendations about things to do and see. Also helped to maintain a great trip to Koh Rok and Koh Haa for snorkeling with a discount and also rented a scooter for us. Thanks to his help our stay was much easier, many thanks Ron :)!
