Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomNot on the Beach - need to walk over the main road and then go through beachside properties to get to the beach. Power point were in silly places - the main one by a smal working surface was almost inaccessible. Also power went off when door locked so coud not leave devices to charge. Bathroom large & adequate with toiletries provided, if a bit in need of some maintenance. No plug to basin. Doors to verandah shrunk so cold aircon air would have been lost Advertising shows a busy restaurant but saw little sign of it. Pool was fine with loungers and shade.
Bungalow looked smart from the outside. Good size room with nice bed. Shower had hot water

GermanyVery uncomfortable bed. Dirty bedsheets. No soap provided. No handtowels provided, only old and worn bathtowels, staff did not greet, staff was very loud beginning from 7am to talk to each other loudly in front of the room. No possibility to make the room dark for the night.
We liked the location and the pool. The room was nice and very spacious.

CanadaThe hotel did not live up to our expectations. The room had no natural light (there was one window facing a concrete wall) and only fluorescent lights, and was not in one of the bungalows so was not pretty. Very basic room amenities like no face or hand towels. There's bags of garbage outside the room on the ground. It is not directly on the beach as it seems from its photos. When I asked if we could upgrade to one of the bungalows, they were full so were not able to. I asked if I could get the second night refunded so we could find somewhere nicer to stay and again they said no. I don't understand why they could not have refunded the second night since they were not able to upgrade us. Overall, it was an okay stay but there wasn't any good food or drinks - you had to go to the other restaurants or bars, and we were disappointed that the staff could not help us with a room upgrade or early checkout. The positive is that they were really helpful in arranging tours with the tour companies and helping us arrange transportation onto and off of the island.
There is a driver that works with the hotel and can shuttle people via truck or tuk tuk. He was amazing! So sweet and helpful, really appreciated his service. :)

SwedenMy room was located in a building with paper walls. So you could hear the street sounds quite well. But hey you get what you pay for....
I came with the intention of perhaps staying a few nights but one was enough for me. Nothing wrong with the complex, you get what you pay for. But the vibe was so off and the receptionist was stressed but polite. Comfy beds and clean rooms.

United KingdomWas very noisy as our room was right outside the restaurant and pool, and the hotel is also situated on the main road so a fair amount of traffic noise.
Location was great as only had to cross the road to the beach. Staff helpful with booking tours and taxis. Pool looked nice although we didn't use it. The room was fine for what we needed, and bottles of water would be replaced each day. 150 baht for tuk tuk to Long Beach would definitely be recommended.

Czech RepublicNo bar, breakfast was exceptionally dull and no mix and match options, so you had to choose between set menus, the service was slow and requests were not always understood. The standard rooms were decorated in various shades of hospital brown, terrible lighting, sink outside the bathroom for some reason, and the rooms were only serviced once in 6 nights. There was a very busy road outside the hotel, day and night, over- chlorinated pool which brought our kids out on a rash, and finally they lost some of our laundry so we had to arrange a delivery to our next hotel. If we get it I'll update my review. Compared to Krabi, it's overpriced and underwhelming.
Very close to the beach, close to restaurants and street food, the stand-alone bungalows looked very attractive in the beautiful gardens, although we were instead in a standard room in the main building. Very good transfer service back to Krabi, and availability of a driver at the hotel to take us places and pick us up again..The Anderlay hotel opposite did great cocktails and coffee, and their grilled fish was excellent so we spent a lot of time there, plus it's directly on the beach.

Room was a good size and the bed comfortable. The swimming pool was a good size and kept clean. Great location 1 minute walk across the road to Klong Nin beach and near lovely beachside restaurants. Would recommend Richey’s for good food and live music

IndiaIt is quite far from the old town. That's the only price one pays for choosing a location this quiet. Breakfast spread wasnt there. Very limited options
The resort is a quiet place situated pretty close to the beach, at a walking distance really. I stayed here only for a day so did not use alot of the amenities. The owner/staff was very helpful and helped me save some money too

GermanyVery loud due to main street, also at the poolside, the hardest mattress on the world, feels like you are on stone, bad WiFi, the rooms are not cleaned well. Don't book the cheapest room. Go for the Bungalows, it's really worth as these are behind the pool (it's much more quiet)..
Basically a very nice resort and especially garden. Nice beach just 1 minute (opposite side of the street), pool sunbeds with matress. Spacious room.
