Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United StatesLOCATION: The hotel is quite far from the center of Chiang Rai, so plan on taking a taxi. BOOKING: We asked for a quiet room during booking, but we were assigned a room on the ground floor across from the pool. Finally the manager explained that the type of room we booked was ONLY available facing the pool. The person handling my request needed to explain the trade-off between room size and pool noise before our arrival, so we could have decided and not had to change rooms. As mentioned, once we arrived, they bent over backwards to make our stay great. The ordering of breakfast eggs could be a little more seamless operation. One is trying to time one's hot toast with the arrival of the eggs and it rarely works out! We wanted to sit outside for one meal, but the mosquitos arrived in droves, so we sought refuge inside. The lounge/settee thing in the room is completely uncomfortable.
LOCATION: the grounds are beautiful and pleasant to walk around. During our stay, an engagement party and 2 weddings were happening. It was wonderful to by a bystander, and the hotel handled every guest's needs just fine. (We chanced to meet one bride and groom, who invited us to their reception!) ROOM: Our first room was noisy due to facing pool. The offered a smaller room away from the pool. Since I had prepaid, they were unable to refund the difference. However, they gave us a THB 2,000 (USD $57) credit to use in the dining room. The new room was away from the noise of the pool, still quite large, and also more private, so we felt the solution was fair. The reservations clerks PUY and NINK were very gracious and always remembered our names! The bed was comfortable, the bathrooms were roomy and in good repair. Bedside reading lights were good. Balcony furniture was comfortable. DINING: Breakfast was awesome, with cuisine for every taste. Eggs cooked to order available. Dinner was excellent, but lunch lacked the same choices and was a disappointment. Wi-Fi was fine. Since we made our reservation, Le Meridien has joined Marriott Bonvoy, so my experience might have been impacted by that change. I'd only stayed at a Marriott once before. This experience sold me on trying them again.

The room was big and spacious, beautiful interior and lovely balcony. Plenty of wardrobe space and everything you needed from coffee and tea to well stocked fridge. The staff was amazing - so friendly, polite and couldn’t be more helpful. We only tried the Italian restaurant by the river and again it was brilliant.

Indiathe room service and food menu was a bit limited - and food service stops by 10 pm! So that made it a bit hard to get food on the first night we were there since we didnt know!
The property is stunning, and its easy to get cabs - which is a big bonus! The hotel helped us organize a tour to the temples and black museum, which was super helpful! We really loved our time here! And the pool was amazing, as was the truffle pizza! We wish we had stayed longer to enjoy the rest of the hotel!

United KingdomOn our second to last day we were awoken before 7am by pa testing and music being played for a wedding by the pool (and our room!) Reception tried to tell us it wasn’t starting until 7.30 and were unwilling/unable to believe us or stop it.
