The room smelled really bad, the walls were EXTREMLY thin and you could hear everything. They turned off the music at some point - thank goodness, because it was really bad and way too loud. It‘s a quite common issue that they overbook rooms and you have to sleep in a shared room even if you booked a private room. Or that there is no space for you at all. In our case we got a private room which was IN a shared room. Just separated by some glass. Luckily the room was still dirty at check-in time and we got another one. The room consisted of a bed and that’s it. There was an AC but it randomly turned off in the middle of the night and smelled awful. Shared bathrooms were okay.

It was super cheap and it was easy to meet other people. The staff was quite friendly.

When we checked out we asked a member of staff if they could help us order a taxi and they didn’t want to help, she directed us to walk down the road to get one instead of helping us order. We walked for 10/15 mins down the road with really heavy bags trying to get someone to stop and take us to the ferry port. Ended the stay negatively.

Really social and lots of stuff to do at the hostel. We had a private room and it was a nice cosy room! Really Good location too.

I came here out of full moon time. It was still very busy with a very great atmosphere. The facility’s are the best I’ve seen anywhere. Full football Astro, a full gym, swimming pool, trampoline, racket courts, volley ball and a basketball court. This cost me under 100 baht a night and out of full moon you get 2 nights free when you stay there for 3. 5 nights for 300 baht! The hostel is very nice. Beds are clean, the showers and bathrooms aren’t the nicest but it’s a party hostel. The music stops at 11. Overall I would recommend

The bunk bed wasn't very stable and it was a nightmare to climb it. The bathroom hasn't been properly cleaned for all 3 nights I stayed. Just emptying the bin isn't enough.

If you come for a party this is your hostel to stay! Very lively. DJ stops playing around 1 a.m. so you can still enjoy a quiet night.

The dorm is very basic, no curtains, no locker. You have to pay to use the pool table. The music is too loud, even if there isn't one on the dance floor, so you have to shout to talk to each other, and it is everyday. Don't expect to chill or read a book at the pool, you will need earplugs.

The price, it was very cheap. Looks like they clean it everyday. If you want to find people to party, this is your place.

Everyday we run out of water everywhere either in the morning or late night. Bathrooms a bit dirty. Can’t complain paying that little. You will need a scooter to get here and go around, amazing what this island has to offer.

We asked for blankets and they never gave us any and shut reception. The room was freezing so could barely sleep. We also got moved rooms which was annoying having to move everything.

You don’t even feel welcome. You just feel that they are money hungry. If you’re hungry, you can’t even eat your own food, I had to hide in back of the porperty to eat my peanuts because you can only eat the good THEY sell. Ridiculous. In addition, they ask for a 1000BTH deposit which is enormous for a hostel and the staff is stupidly rude.

The water is not really hot but even tho the cold Thailand weather helps with it!

Leo Hostel is a great place where to meet people, listen to some high vibe music and eat something yummy (both Easter and Thai Food options). The hostel has a small gym where to do some tractions or do weight lifting and there is also a swimming pool where you can refresh during hot days. It has many areas where you can play (pool, foosball, pin pong, football, basketball and also volleyball) The stuff is friendly and the cleaning ladies and sirs are nice people. The room has a smaller locker room, but there are more lockers then beds if you need it. The room has bathroom with a shower and a wc but there are also many showers and toilets outside the room (in the arena). The hostel is close to many Thai food restaurant, to a 7 eleven and other facilities. We found also an ATM inside the arena where you can withdraw some cash if it’s need. The complex is great and offers a lot to do even if you want just stay there and take a day off from travelling!
