Location is good and close to the sea and shops, but the hotel is located on the big road, so sometimes it was not so quiet and convinient. Price was ok, but in other places for these types of hotels it is lower. But Phuket in total is not so cheap.

Perfect 2-star hotel, spacious rooms with balcony and a lot of light, every day cleaning and free coffee in lobby. Freindly staff and managment, always helped with all questions. Rooms have fridge, coffee table, working space and big waredrobe. No kettle in room, but hot water in lobby and inside the hotel always available. No inside terrotory and no pool.

We would love to have something to hang up clothe in the room. The closest smelled not well. The bed was a little bit to hard and the pillow was huge, to huge for my taste. We did not use the cleaning service so we did not got any water over the days (normally we got it everywhere even without using the cleaning service).

The room was big, bright and clean. The toilet as well! Location of the stay was awesome, next to the Kata beach and a small but nice night market. If you take a scooter it's great because it's next to a main road.

Good location, a little far from beach. Room was comfortable, but quite dark given we were on the lower ground floor. Lots and lots of mosquitos around!

Unfortunately, it was quite often noisy because some tourists did not know that you do not smash a door, but open or close it with the handle.

A bit noisy at night (from the traffic, as is close to a main road, but still on that road you find close everything: local food, bike to rent, laundry service). I already booked 2 more weeks here.

Very helpful staff, room cleaned every day, 2 bottles of water every day (left for you at the door even when you're out), exceptional breakfast and lunch at the restaurant downstairs (opens at 5-6 am). Very good and stable internet. Great value for the money.

- far enough from the beaches - quite noisy because of the road nearby - the stuff is not very kind, it would be great if they were a little bit more hospitable, but it’s okay they help with all problems at the same time

Mala hotel was a great choice to stay in Phuket in Kata beach! Super comfortable, clean and spacious room, nice and hospitable staff and really great value for money.

The beds were super hard. It was the noisiest hotel I have ever stayed in. No matter the time it was noisy. You could hear all the traffic from the road all night

Be careful the building entrance & exit door lock can get stuck if you follow the pull & push signs. They have to be swamped. Notified the reception guy, promissed to swap signs but they remained intact the next day anyway. Fire risk if the door lock gets stuck during an emergency evaluation.

Location is very convenient on the road to Karon, you may turn left and go to Kata.
